Genre police warning. Linkin Park was never metalcore. Even when you were listing their genres there were no "core" of any sorts there. 😅Now. They obviously inspired a lot of modern metal, metalcore or post-hardcore bands to some degree. But calling them metalcore? No. There is too little of both metal and hardcore too even consider calling them that.
Ik that they were technically Nu metal and alt rock. But tbh I think they were just so ahead of their time!!! You definitely could consider lots of their songs metal core. Like numb to name an example. Ik you got me 😂 but I would definitely say they dabbled in metal core
