The truth is, I didn't just want a guy who goes to church, I wanted a man who was actively pursuing Jesus in all aspects of his life. Not a perfect man - those don't exist. But a man who was imperfectly pursuing the Perfect One. Great, so how do you know if a guy is doing this or not? In this video, I'm breaking down five indicators that a man is actively pursuing the Lord. These are five simple but crucial qualities to look for in a godly man - because they will hugely impact your marriage. Im a single mom and we’ve gone through a lot of emotional pain. If i ever meet a man he has to be a good father figure to my son and there needs to be a bond between them. That is non negotiable for me. Ive seen step dads who just dont care about the kids and i can never do that. My son is my life. Love your channel!

My sincere apologies to the both of you for not having a partner anymore but if you really love God and Jesus, you need to read what I have copied and pasted here, it is from the Bible about remarriage and I don't know how many Christians know of this as I have seen a certain amount wanting to remarry though I do not know their circumstances (why their marriage fell apart and reason for not being together anymore).
“For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Then Jesus states clearly the exception, “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
The above applies to man and woman.

Such a beautiful message Kaci! I would say Protection, physical and spiritual, a covering of myself head to toe as well as our household as the leader he is. Passion, being on the same page regarding our hopes and dreams together as a married couple, I love babies 👶🏻 Honoring sabbath rest and letting me fully embrace all that I am in my feminine essence as a homemaker. He prays for his wife daily just as she does for him. These are beautiful God Honoring qualities that I found in my husband.

Those are perfect! Thank you Kaci! This is something that I give a lot of thought to, and these are definitely the most important. Sometimes in the frustration of still being single you can lose sight of how important these are, but it’s truly is worth the wait! One that I would add for my personal list is that he wouldn’t be caught up in chasing after the world, but seeks earnestly after Christ (which would ultimately be the fruit of the things you already mentioned) ❤

Qualities: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, it talks about what love truly is. You don't want a guy who is violent or easily angered. You want a guy who puts God first before you. You want a guy with passion for everything he cares about(God included).

You left out other points that are very important and demanded by Jesus Himself
1. Should be is GOD the center of his life
2. Does he honor his father and mother they way he treats his mother he will treat you.
3.Does he practice what he preachers meaning is he a good Samaritan
You want a GODly man outside church not a christian inside church.
4. If he loves GOD you will know that's not something you can hide nor pretend
5. You want a man who has a relationship whit JESUS not a religious man who plays church

She did cover all of that by saying he was pursuing the perfect one, loved the Word earnestly prayed, and repented. Those are all examples of someone who has God at the center ❤️ She also mentioned in the beginning of the video, its more than someone just attending church, how is his relationship with the Lord. Considering women are the ones divorcing their husbands the majority of the time these days id think men should be asking that question to women, not the other way around.
No hot tempers. If a guy has an out of control temper, run the other way.

I know I’m being cynical but how could you possibly know if a random guy at your church doesn’t fit all of these criteria that you’ve come up with unless you spent months to get to know him? I guess what I’m getting at is if a Christian lady doesn’t find a Christian man attractive because he doesn’t take care of himself physically, or if he exhibits beta qualities, then that’s fine. No one will judge you if you simply don’t find a man attractive. But I feel like you’re trying to find excuses to justify why you’d rather wait than settle for a more average looking man, but as a result you’re actually demonizing unattractive men as if you could possibly know how their private prayer life is. Just remember that that ugly guy at church could actually step in to save your life possibly without a second thought, sacrificing his own life for yours. As a guy who has been training for the security team at my church just know that while some people are volunteering at the church openly some men are training outside of eye sight. You can’t always judge people superficially. Let God be the judge, and just be honest if you simply find someone unattractive or attractive. You don’t have to justify being a woman in the same way I don’t have to justify being a man.
How is going to church, not your own time. That's religious spirit attending not seeking anything. If you're going to church and you thinking of it like it is not your free time, you should re evaluate why you going to church
Furthermore, 3 is unnecessary, there are many communities that are so corrupt, there is little reason to play around there. Some are so small they aren't available.
