This is just amazing. This has been an amazing journey to be on. Following the progression of this game, a rocky start but quickly became my all time favorite board game ever made. And I have gotten every single piece of content added to it, which I might say is excellent every time. Ingenious new designs, especially from wasted wilds. This game bring my play group together like no other game. Everyone is excited to play together and help out. The way you can play certain characters and interact with other players in interesting ways blows me away, like looting other players decks and using their cards, searching their discard piles for gear cards, or just amazing fun impactful effects like moving the van around the map with the driver. This game do THEME like none other. I LOVE this franchise, and you Mike, for your dedication and ALWAYS being in the forums to answer quickly over at boardgamegeek make you so SO loved and respected. You created one heck of a legacy sir.
What happened to Bugpocalypse? I haven't found any information if this is included in the "trilogy". I guess it should, as it should contain all the content from the 1st edition stuff. Yet still, it is unclear.
But in the video is said that the day/night deck has been redone. I just want to know if the new deck is significantly different, and if the changes to the insanity deck are also signicantly different from the original. Thanks!
The insanity deck effects are the same but the card size has changed. The day night deck has some slight changes- mostly for balance with the new clock mechanic.
I originally backed the Gothic Horrors expansion and got the base game along with it and the Jurassic Perils and Kaiju packs. I got Wasted Wilds under the premise of more content and and more streamlined ruleset to start playing, which in all accounts it's actually paying off! So my question is: Is there any further difference between the 2nd Editions and the first ones, other than the sets included, Dials, Minis and the Trays? I am hoping there are no revisions on cards or card formats that make the original versions incompatible with the Wasted Wilds version (I haven't had the chance to try mixing components). Could you clarify this? Love the game and the different sets!
Ok. I think i get it. I own Maximum Apocalypse Legendary Edition. Based on this video i undernstand, i only need Wasted Wilds, becaouse content and everything is abslutly same in 2nd eidiotn as in Legendary edition + for me i have Bugsapocalypse expansion included, whats mean i own absoltly everything in one big box and only what i need to do is buy Waster Wilds. This is confused af but...I am happy i can keep everything what i have and just but WW.
I have Maximum Apocalypse Legendary Edition and Wasted Wilds. Is there any upgrade pack planned for players like me who already have this content but want the new/revised content introduced in 2nd edition + Gothic Horrors 2nd edition? I know this is always a tough call for publishers, so I’m just curious!
If you have Legendary and Wasted Wilds I’m not sure what you would need from these new products. These products are designed to replace the original editions and Legendary so we don’t need to reprint them. The supplemental mission log in Wasted Wilds adapts all the old missions.
Not that I can think of. Check the wasted wilds rulebook: boardgamegeek.com/filepage/236600/wasted-wilds-learn-play-rulebook and compare it to legendary. It was used as the template for the 2nd editions
A couple options: 1. Wasted wilds has more content a redone supplemental mission log adapting all the old missions and the new scavenge decks. So buying that gets you updated and a whole lot more. 2. Checkout BGG to get the scavenge decks, organize your existing cards that way and then look up the new missions and download the PDFs.
This is great. This is a preorder for sure! Thanks!

Amazing! The new edition is looking great, and I'm also so glad that I can just get Wasted Wilds and mix with the stuff I already have ;)
No Bugpocalypse?

All apocalypses are clearly displayed on the back of each box. Bugpocalypse remains a separate small expansion.
Does The Gothic Horrors deluxe V1 for Maximum Apocalypse, including Allies of the Rapture Expansion ?
The Kickstarter version does

There are no card revisions other than the new scavenge decks. You can absolutely mix and play with the older content.
@@RockManorGames wonderful! Thank you for answering! 😄
I am hoping to have a few games in this weekend! 😊
For those who didn't back WW is there any chance of a PDF download of the 2 updated mission/rule books for the first 2 sets?
Already posted to BGG boardgamegeek.com/filepage/238753/mission-book-og-game-and-gothic-horrors

Is there a way to make the 1st edition compatible with 2nd edition, like a set to upgrade it?

Thanks ! Is the time traveler expansion compatible with 1st edition?
Are you restocing the legendary edition? If so when?
no plans to reprint the Legendary - having a $100+ entry point is tough so we've refactored the original and Gothic into separate standalone boxes.
Are the scavenge decks the same as in Wasted Wilds?
In the core game, yes. Gothic Horrors are standardized like wasted wilds but have a few different items from that set.
