I agree with the way you were tipping. It is always good driver practice (workmanship) to start at the back and always have weight on the drive wheels. Good work, and by the way I was living in Mitchell till 2 1/2 years ago, still have the house there though. Work for the Shire of Coorow in WA now pushing up gravel for the shire trucks. I was applying for that job on my previously B-doubles job but they said that if I do not have exp. in triples there is no consideration of me, so how can I get exp.if i am not working on triples ?
The controls were a Quick Shift with Toggle Switches ....they were pretty fast tipping trailers & the control box with PTO were all located down by the R side of drivers seat on the floor
Yeh doesn't hurt to go backwards now n again ,someone usually expects ya to to tip in where you wouldn't take a body truck.can't beat those azmeb rippers.

Been out at out at Injune for 6 mths..... previously was in Karatha W.A .....been talkin to me old boss in Karatha...he got some new Quads :)

Where in qld.pullin ab triple in cq myself ,carting into a lot of mines but prefer roadwork.
What are the operating controls like in the cab for these side tippers??? Is it pretty much the same as bulk tipper controls???
