I'm not really sure the "When I'm summoned" abilities not working on the played card is a bug,timelines grants the cards the effect "when you play me", so from my understanding the effect order would be Play > Transform (Timelines) > Summon, since the summon effect only triggers after the play effect and consequently after the transformation, only the new card triggers its summon ability.
First opponent threw soooo hard! 1) they attacked with Volibear first, meaning that their whole board lost overwhelm after he died 2) they just didn’t attack with asol for some reason, which definitely would have been lethal if they attacked with asol before voli

thats what i thought too. the transform happens on-play and play happens before on-summon
Im assuming its something that has worked in the past that stopped working with the timelines change
patched most like. seems more like it was an exploit in the past rather than a bug today
