- Where'd the idea come from? How long did it take to figure out? Who stole it first? Where is the cork 10? Does anyone actually know you did it first? DID YOU ACTUALLY DO IT FIRST!? Daniel Dhers discusses the corked 720!

Really cool video, love hearing history things about the sport like this.
I love this content. Vital BMX does a Great job of providing a behind the scenes look at what it takes to be a successful contest rider. Please bring back the rollback podcasts. Keep up the Great work!
Kyle more vids like this. Very enjoyable.
You should do a video with Mark Webb and his decade 360!?
Dave mirras were kind of cork 7
I remember almost everything mentioned in this , except that dhers rode with Dave at dew tour , great to see it
Daniel brought style along with the ground breaking tricks , EPIC BMX great interview, thanks !!
Man this video was just awesome, history of bmx that kids these days just have no clue about.
cork 7 a dream trick
Favourite rider when I was learning
Daniel is such a force on a bike man..
Absolutely, such a big inspiration for BMX!
Daniel South América 🔥👏🇧🇷
Ahh I remember this vid when it said like uploaded 10 minutes ago! Haha time goes fast!!!
Jack Clark did the cork 1080 a couple years ago! Check it out if you haven't!
Jack Watts, not Clark
definitely big difference between cork 7's and flip 360's, dhers is a proper og for cork 7's his look amazing, must be one of the longest standing redbull sponsored riders
Alligator Wrestler was the trick named by ryan nyquist ages before he did one. 3flip and cork 7 are very much the same thing
That ending
I had the same problem with 720s! I had em dialed and could pull them over the box smooth as fuck with ease, then one day I just let it, kept landing front end high. 🤦♂️
My dream is to be the first girl to land one of these. I've thrown them into foam and just came around to flat.
How’s your progress going now!?! Update please!
nobody can do it as good still.
Like 3. Boa noite!
A little correction from a self-proclaimed BMX historian :)
The footage you're talking is not from 2006 but rather from 2007. I can't find the original video online anymore, but here's a best-of-2007 summary video on the same channel where Daniel's 720 is around the 0:55 mark: ruclips.net/video/6uchOVIAE8g/видео.html
Talking about people following Daniel, a few seconds later in the same link (1:04) you can also see Scotty Cranmer doing a corked 720 at the last stop of same year's Dew Tour.
Now, talking about the first guy to do a corked 720 - there is a strong case that some of Dave Mirra's 720s and Stephen Murray "360 backflips" (like the one at 4:00 here: ruclips.net/video/YgjOj10QIls/видео.html , also a VitalBMX video) were what you'd call a modern variety of 720. But I guess Daniel was the first one to do this trick often and intentionally enough to be called one of its inventors :)
