Personally, I think most korean ballad singers sounds the same. So only few unique singers survive in the industry. If you watch Kpop star, there are so many amazing singers with great techniques. But it's the emotion and the unique voice that makes a singer stand out. I felt like everything including his technique was so special. He is going to be so popular.
Yep, it's the emotion that made the popular K-Ballad popular. That's why Park Hyo Shin was quite popular and also Im Jaebum's voice was a good example on having a unique voice :)
What I like about Jaehwan is that he can convey emotions through his singing. And it's not an easy task. It's amazing that even when I may not understand the language I still know what a song is about, and it's all because of how singer uses their voice. JH once said that he wants 'to be a singer who can touch hearts of others', well now, he's someone who can do that. Jaehwanie, keep on singing and keep making people happy. Fighting!! ;)
