The AEV editions have been far too expensive since they became available on the previous Gen Colorado!! 😂😂 it’s the TRD Pro of packaging for GM. (To be fair Toyota is finally making the TRD Pro a more price fair package, but before,,, 😂😂). The package KILLS payload!! 1000 lbs is hilariously low!
I would buy other aftermarket products that will do the same job for wayy less $$.
The diesel is less than the 6.2 still. It’s a nice option. Get a ZR2 Diesel and add what you like. You will save as much as $$5 digits!!
1000# is almost as bad as Dodge.
every manufacture under sizes their tires unless its a specialty truck imo (i.e. trx, raptor..)
Who's buying this?!?! You can get a Raptor or a TRX for 90k and who's paying 90k for a 300 horsepower truck that can barely carry 4 fat guys?!?! Truck prices were unreasonable for 2022-23 but now it's just full blown crazy.
Yet another vehicle that I will never be able to afford....
It doesn’t matter what you guys say about these trucks anymore, they are out of reach and unaffordable for 99% of the population.
You guys say you don’t have to get the options but even without options it’s still an $80,000 truck. And as a truck the fact something like a Honda Ridgeline or his Hyundai truck have a higher load rating is Pathetic. 1400LB rating vs a full size truck that comes in at 1040LB🤣🤯
I am willing to bet as soon as you drive this off the lot, if you KBB your truck I would bet it drops in the 60k region so you’ll be upside down 30k on a new truck these days. And have a $2,000 a month payment 😂
Nice truck just not $90K nice
Why get this over a Raptor or Tremor?
What about the oil pump drive belt??? Not a fan of having to do major maintenance on a diesel at 100k miles! Thats not normal for a diesel !!!!
It’s a 200k interval.
Love how every video is just a bunch of nerds whining about the price. Get a hobby
These new trucks are like an only fan's girl. I wanna just play with them for one night and then give them back because they're too expensive
They could have kept it simple and just gave the AT4 the Denali interior
The normal AT4 and the normal Denali virtually have the same interior..
Goodbye to useful, affordable trucks.
It’s handsome and capable…but who’s buying this when they could up a Raptor or TRX? If you’re spending that much money you probably want something big, bold and brash. This is just a bit too tame. But what do I know? I can’t afford any of them anyway.
Not for nothing, the TRX and Raptor sticker for about $15 to $20k more and then there's the added benefit of "stealer" markups on those models. For this reviewed GMC, the color is kinda of bland....a brighter color would be much nicer and make the truck pop a lot more
Not the v6 raptor -4 sitting on my local dealers lot for 81-85
90k is a real joke.
The 3.0 Duramax Diesel is cheaper than the 6.2 liter V8
And a dollar more a gallon everywhere in the US(diesal)..not really saving I would say
@@papaglock58 It's not about the savings. It's about an engine that lugs along at low rpms and delivers all the power you need. It's also about extended range. That 6.2 V8 when towing 7k lbs tall trailer will have you fueling every 150 miles
Well clearly saving is not on the menu for you..either way bro I want the option.. and mine is not buying it 😂..marked up like crazy and a bubble that will pop sooner or later
Let tell you the writing on the wall clearly..for about 90% of the country with this economy..is it about savings per gallon..because 90% of the pavement queens won't even use this truck to its full potential..so there..rip off
It’s actually standard on the AT4X!!! You have to pay for the 6.2
Still a lot of money for a 1/2 ton truck, and I love GMC but I don’t believe anyone can justify the price. All I can say good luck to all these dealerships that have very expensive trucks on their lots selling them. There will be a few, but I believe every dealership in the country is gonna have a hard time selling these trucks, you cannot justify the prices of these trucks. If you tell me it has hidden wings and can fly as well maybe, but I doubt that capability has been incorporated in these expensive trucks.
Cool truck, but really difficult to justify the price.
If you’re towing a trailer that step is useless!!!! 😡😡😡
If you don’t own a 30ft boat, you can’t afford to own this truck
I don't mind these high prices on the special edition dedicated offroaders especially when they're really not that much more expensive then doing a new build yourself. Still overpriced as it should be around 83k. I hate these annoying luxury trucks and the insane prices on the mid level trims.
AEV is not worth the extra $$$$$
pricing is way outta control... my GAWD
So the new Lexus GX can tow more than this?!?
Diesel great for towing but then buy a 3/4 ton!
I like it.🙂
Love how fake trucks out truck real trucks 😂😂😂
That payload is a joke….. the canyon Denali can tow more. That’s ridiculous.
