i got the epidural for my birth and all i can say is THANK GOODNESS; felt so much better after. i felt a slight sting for a few seconds but my contraction pain was so bad that the needle felt like basically nothing,, never knew this is what it looked like , it’s crazy how our bodies are able to go through this

I stayed still and it got done REALLLLY quick like less than 2 minutes but I just had this sense of worry.
I was trying to go for an undmedicated birth but after being in labor for more than 3 days my body was tired and I had to get transferred to a hospital to get the epidural. I remember him in my mind as my angel because after a long laboring process and me not progressing normally, I know for a fact I wouldn’t have made it or have been aware during the birthing process. I still remember his name and how happy I was to see him. He was so quick, efficient and friendly. I was overjoyed to have a large needle placed in my back at that moment. 😂

As long as you have a doctor that is experienced it’s not so bad. I’ve had 3 c sections and will be having another one in 8 weeks. My 2nd c section was awful. The doctor stuck me in the back 5 times. I was traumatized after that and kept telling everyone afterwards. When I had my 3rd c section I told them during the process and they saw the marks going up my spine. They however were great! They’ll be delivery my next baby as well.
I had an epidural for my baby , only a few months ago and it really didn’t hurt that much (surprisingly!) It hurt more having to bend right over for them to put it in than it did the actual needle going in!

had this done in 2005 with my second to the older son and they messed up my spinal cord some were along the line my other 3 pregnancies they just gave me a simple spinal I had no problem with them till I had this procedure done
I can feel the pain in my back just watching I'm not kidding. Weird!
I had an epidural with my 1st child and it was more pain that giving birth (the epidural wore off by the time I gave birth so I felt everything ) I was so scared to have an epidural with my 2nd child and thank god I went into labor unexpectedly 2 months early and had her in the ambulance so I didn’t have to get one. Side note….i felt the epidural ripple up my back and I have severe back pain to this day (which is actually my daughters 18th birthday today) has never been the same since.
Hei! I wanted to ask how do you deal with the pains ?because Am suffering too and the most irritating thing is that the so called doctors don’t want to admit the side effects.
Epidurals are elective and you're happy your baby was pre term? 🤨
I was trying to do an unmedicated birth because i hate ivs but i was in so much pain from back labor i just wanted it to stop 😭😭
I’m not scared of needles but now all of a sudden I’m scared 💀💀
I'm not pregnant but I wish I was but I don't want that thing going in my back cuz omg that's scary and geez probably hurt 😨

How was the epidural pain?
I got an epidural when I had my child not knowing the process it entails. This just gave me panic attack, now I don't want anymore kids 😰😰😰
the contractions are much more painful than this haha ! me having experience with needles with piercings this was ok for me and such a relief from the contractions 😂
Best choice I ever made
Вы, конечно мастера, но мы обязаны попасть куда надо с 1го раза =) ибо нет вариантов... а ещё это делает у нас врач.
It is so awful thing. It hurts back many many years after! 😢
I had this when I had a surgery. At first I was not aware that they inserted this at my back, only then when a nurse came and checked on me then she administered something on my back. It wasn't painful also when they removed the catheter.
I had 2 c sections and the video looks more painful
The doctor hit my spine or something by accident with the needle and it caused one of the worse pains I’ve felt. He had to move it around to continue :/
I know this comment is 5 mos months old, but I had to reply, the same thing happened to me! He hit a nerve and I felt like my leg was on fire and I was being electrocuted up my spine at the same time. It probably lasted seconds but man did it traumatize me. Thank goodness w/ my second child epidural was painless.
He said it could be because I have a slight scoliosis .
I've had 4 with my children and to me this is the worse part of the birthing experience but I was to scared to give birth without it. I can feel this video lol 😂 never again!
After I has this I can’t move around so much like I use to just have to be in bed all the time 😭😭😭 if I see in my eye I wouldn’t use it
Eh so either no epidural and torture, or this big...s needle. Women are really screwed either way.
Why 12 cm ??
For the drugs maintnce by self
Looks painful
It wasn’t for me.
I got an epidural with my first and I got it before I had any really contractions.... And let's just say I felt every little thing 10/10 the most cringiest feeling of pressure ever😭😂
I’m SORRY?!?!?! 😳😳😳😳 the needle is THAT big?!?!
C pour cela que j’ai beaucoup de mal de dos😢😢
