I agree with you. NEMOPHILA shot straight to my #1 spot. If you want more screams then I suggest ZEN or DISSENSION. I also love RISE and OIRAN and all of their songs. ADABANA was awesome live!🤘🔥

As well as their heavy tracks, I also love the plain, feel-good, fun stuff they do. The recent live "Change the World" video is a great example.
Nemophila is my favourite but most of us love Band-Maid as well. (Oh, and Hanabie too. If you like women who can do metal growls then you should definitely check out Hanabie.)
This versatile, soulful, supremely skilled band has been at the absolute top of my favorites list for a while now. I've seen them live (twice), and their live shows are "in the presence of greatness" stuff. They have an incredible chemistry with each other and what's more, they have that rare ability to _project_ that chemistry to an audience.

Just released a banger and really heavy song live yesterday in Zen also Oiran live is heavy and a fan favorite. Also if you like Nemophilia you need to check out Hanabie, who did a show with Nemophila earlier this year. Pardon Me I Have to Go Now is a good starting point. Trust me you will love Hanabie as well.

Hello.....this is the only band that can match the musicianship of Band Maid but obviously a different genre. They are made up from an Allstar cast of the top female metal musicians in Japan. The 2 guitarist are considered prodigy's and are very well known in Japan.
The drummer is widely known as one of the top female drummers in the world....and their singer.....Need I say more.....she has the best combo metal voice I have ever heard !!!!!! Wait tell you hear the most popular song Dissension.....then Revive....Monster...and my new fav..
Hypnosis !!!!!!........But I think the best part of this band.....they are just so F...,king COOL !!!!!!!!!!

I'm a fan of NEMOPHILA and recommend all of their songs. Since they were formed in 2019, coinciding with the coronavirus pandemic, there are various versions available, including a studio version, a live version for distribution without an audience, and a location version. Since the end of the coronavirus, a live version with an audience has been distributed.
ADABANA is a heavy metal song that is a mix of heavy metal and Japanese enka music, and I love it.

Japanese songs are sung with respect for the lyrics. Vocalists understand the meaning of the lyrics and express their feelings. Most Japanese vocalists mainly do this. I think there are some words and phrases in ADABANA's lyrics that cannot be translated into English.

I have been following them sense 2019. Then I saw them in Dallas at the beginning of 2023 and saw their real Power..
Great reaction. Adabana is a masterpiece and that is saying a lot seeing all their songs kick ass. They can go from metal and shredding your face off to just straight up good rock music. They even have some songs that are a bit bluesy rock too even a song or two that is a bit more poppy. These ladies can do it all. All are great musicians. Try one of their live ones soon I recommend Oiran Live.
The band started during covid lock down and couldnt play live so they put out these I don't know like practice studio videos of them just jamming out to some covers of old school metal like iron maiden and AC/DC. You really get to see the smiles and fun they are having playing together and start to get to know them.This is where most of us discovered them. They blew up RUclips with over 2 million views. Production on these are super clean too and sometimes they have go pro's on the guitar necks to see the shreading up close. They have easy one word names: Tamu on drums, Haraguchi on bass, Saki and Huzuki on guitars and Mayu on vocals. The song "Oiran" is the first orignal song of these and power ballad "Life' has behind the scenes footage that makes them so lovable. All their videos are pretty simple productions but the band memebers always has on different outfits to match the song. Oh and a super heavy video is "Ray of Light". Enjoy the ride!

This is an absolute banger of a tune and I've yet to come across anyone who actively doesn't like it, which I think speaks volumes. You've got plenty of choices to do next, but they've just released a live video from one of their performances of their song 'Zen' and oh boy, that goes HARD. If you wanted to check out more of the studio songs before doing a live I recommend 'Rise', 'Hypnosis' or the original RUclips release for 'Oiran' (it still blows me away that it was their first original track and it's that damn good!)
Just as an unimportant sidenote, Petalheads is kind of a divisive name, a lot of fans don't like it, but just as many do (myself included), so I guess it's up to you whether or not you wanna use it, but it's not an official name or anything 😅
I think it´s one ofg their lesser songs, not really a fan of it. Certainly not bad, but I wouldn´t put it in my top ten of their songs.

Well, next, I would recommend the performance at NAON NO YAON festival, where you can see how beastly and dirty NEMOPHILA is in their live performance. The name of the song is "OIRAN". If you check it out, I will be happy!
There are several versions of "OIRAN," but the first version you should see is the one played at a rainy outdoor festival that dropped on July 2, 2021!🇯🇵👍
I recommend their ballads as well, like Life and Now I Here. They sound like awesome 80's rock ballads, but better!
"Petalheads" seems to have become tolerable because the alternative was to allow people to call the fans "Nemophiliacs" which just sounds plain unpleasant.
As @matthewcruse5588 said, they just released a live video for 'Zen'. That is probably their hardest, most full-on track so far.
I thought the alternative was Nemophilites.

TBH, I'm not a lover of nicknames for groups of fans but "Nemophiliacs" was getting used on YT and Reddit so someone suggested "Petalheads" as an alternative. I think at that point we were willing to take anything that didn't sound creepy af (i.e. anything that wasn't "Nemophiliacs").
I never heard "Nemophilites" before. I could happily live without hearing any of them again. I'm definitely a huge fan of the band but I don't need a label.

To me, this is *THE* Metal song. The Metal song above all other Metal songs. To me, this song lifts Nemophila even above Lovebites, and that is a hard judgement out of my keyboard.
This song is *mandatory* to know for Metalheads. Period. As Metalhead you have to know Nemophila, and from Nemophila you *have* to know "Adabana". Period.
And yes, this song is waaaay too short. Almost criminally.

OIRAN is the song you want; it’s their best song and their current show closer. Try a back-to-back comparo of these two versions:

I am not a fan of jinjer but have listened to many songs. Not my favorite in my personal line up

I always enjoy Nemophila they're so talented, you should try to listen to Hanabie they're pure fire especially on stage. Yukina the singer of Hanabie is to me the best growler.
I'm more of a Band Maid fan, but I definitely like Nemophila as well. And Adabana is my favorite song by them. Kicjkass AF while being super epic at the same time.

Nemophila is an amazing band, they never miss. You’ll really enjoy Lovebites too, I’ll recommend Judgement Day. You should definitely check out Hanabie-Tou Sou or Be The Gal, Gacharic Spin-Replica, and TRiDENT-Cry Out too.
Nemophila and Band-Maid just scratch different parts of the musical itch. Variety is ear spice. Or something like that. I'm glad you're enjoying them too and sharing with us!
It makes me wonder if you've heard any Maximum the Hormone. Nao, their drummer, is said to be the inspiration for the Nemophila and Band-Maid drummers. I don't see them in your channel history but that doesn't mean you have't...

My favorite is Raitei, but I like Revive, Oiran (recent live is 🔥), Rise, Seize the Fate or Dissension are great for straight metal. If you want to hear something a bit different, try Style or Hypnosis.

Petalheads is not really an official name for the bands fan base. A few people suggested it on YT. Not a lot of fans have taken it up. Everyone loves labels these days. I’m not that keen on it. It’s pretty lame. All I say when people use it is this. WHY? It’s not very metal.😊
If you have to pick a name (and you don't...), I suppose "Nemophiliacs" would be better. Might be too close to "Madiacs," though...
There _are_ a handful of good fan base names, though. East of Eden just created "Paradise" for theirs...which is pretty good.
I think it's a great name. As to it not being very metal, well, they describe themselves as fluffy hell, so Petalheads fits very well.

@@DavidKAnderson Babymetals "The One". That's written into the lore of the band. Its a band concept that's cool. Generally the names are crap. If its the Spice Girls, Ariana Grande or Adele or 5SOS go silly with your fandom names. Their Gen Z fans lap it up. Its pretty lame in metal.
