- DC Had access to all it's biggest characters while making the DCEU and failed while the MCU didn't have access to all it's characters,, including their biggest ones which forced them to think more creatively which ended up being the best thing to happen to them... so what if the same thing happened to DC? What if DC didn't have the rights to their biggest characters which forced them to think more creatively which lead to MCU level success.

Batman should be an equivalent to Spider-Man because both are the crown-jewels of Marvel & DC, both were played by multiple actors in film.
IMO I could see Shazaam coming in as the Superman Replacement really entirely, him being an invulnerable super powerful beacon of hope within the Universe if the Trinity is unusable. He was the Superman of the Faucet verse initially
Captain Marvel copied his costume off Flash Gordon's Electrician costume in story Power men of Mongo which Barry Allen version of Flash also copied but replaced helmet and googles for a mask while Captain Marvel wore neither. Captain Marvel also had talking Tigerman in story which was previously used in Buck Rogers. Of course, he also resembled Popeye but instead of eating spinach for power he said Shazam.
he was briefly more popular around his debut. iirc it was because his alter ego was about the same age as most comics readers at the time

Daredevil for Arrow, Spider-Man for Flash, Ms Marvel (Kamala) for Supergirl, Champions for Legends, Luke Cage for Black Lightning, Ironheart for Batwoman. Tangentially we’d have Young Allies for Stargirl focusing on Rikki Barnes, and Captain Marvel in place of Superman and Lois.
That would be cool but I’d switch Captain Marvel and Miss Marvel with Captain America and Falcon

I Always wonder what a DC and Marvel Extended Universe would be like. What if the DCEU and the MCU would be a part of the same universe. Would Iron Man make a suit to defeat Superman, would Wonder Woman and Captain America fight together during the war, and would Thanos and Darksied work together. The possibility could be endless.
They really need to make this a thing quickly lol
I could see Donna Troy being a situation like Wanda and quicksilver where she's seen as both a titans and wonder woman character
My only criticism is that I would've had the second Arrow film before Teen Titans, and have Roy work in the Robin role; given that both Smallville and the Arrowverse functionally used Green Arrow as a stand in for Batman as much as an adaption of the character, it'd make sense for his sidekick to replace Robin in this way.

Henry Cavill's Superman being the counterpart to Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man definitely aged. Not aged well, not aged poorly, just aged.

I personally think Green Arrow should've been the first film of this universe, but still, great lineup.
I think in an alternate universe, Dc sold all the justice league (Superman, Supergirl, WW, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, flash, and green lantern) and they would have the teen titans (cyborg, Raven, beast boy, and Starfire as the FF
Fox Justice league movies are very hit or miss and are super confusing with the flash messing up the timeline. The teen titans had 3 movies and they all are garbage
Sony has Batman, the batfamily, and the rogues. They rebooted Batman twice which were pretty good movies and tried giving the rogues movies (which were terrible).
Despite having all their rights, Marvel struggles to make good movies and are probably rebooting their universe with Spider-Man and dr strange
Dc had only obscure characters but worked. The main characters of the universe are Blue Beetle (representing the sci fi side), Zatanna (the supernatural side), green arrow (the more grounded, realistic side) and Shazam (the more Kid friendly, humorous action side). ARGUS is Shield in this universe. Black Canary, Red Tornado, Vixen, Huntress, Booster Gold, Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle, Atom, Captain Atom, and Dr Fate are household names. Peacemaker still gets a spin off show and the GOTG equivalent I’m still working on what that would be.
After a massive event in the movies, and WB buying the rights to their characters, they are slowly introducing the og dc members such as a young Batman who started year 1 (The Batman), and modern day agent Steve Trevor under Amanda Waller finds the mythical Themyscira while in 2012, a ship lands in Kansas and Smallville is being watched by Argus in modern day.
Unfortunately the Question is stuck in a weird place where Universal owns the rights but won’t do anything with it and WB wants to make movies on him.

This is an interesting thought exercise about what might have been, but it got me thinking about something that actually could be done. What if they sold non-exclusive rights to some characters? Just because it hasn't been tried, doesn't mean it's a terrible idea. If an independent filmmaker does produce a superior or competitive version, DC could always offer them another deal that would incorporate their work in the official universe and give them the opportunity to move up bigger-budgeted productions.

By technically there is a way that A batman or Wonder Woman character could in fact appear because of the real life ego situation. So reported marvel and fox traded ego the living planet for negasonic’s powers. However I’m not sure what they would get rid of for probably one of the sidekicks for the titans movie. Maybe Prometheus since he is a batman villain that is primarily a justice league threat

i think leading into crisis and going multiversal is a mistake. og crisis was mostly to resolve a bunch of multiversal/continuity problems. making a bunch of multiversal probelms for the sake of crisis seems like a bad idea. i think building towards emerald twilight/zero hour might make the universe more cohesive. you get that cool story and you could introduce a young and inexperienced superman right before ZH who replaces damage's role in the story, and sacrifices himself to fix time, only to be sent back instead and become one of the first super heroes of the universe
I think trigon could be a great big bad for a saga cuz in the comics he's as strong as specter as long as you don't have him loose to teens he could be great for a next dc cinematic universe video
Trigon makes more sense. After all one thing he and Thanos have in common are their connections to the secondary team through their daughters.

That would be interesting, I wonder, would they do it the way the MCU did in the 2010s, state that the shows are connected to the films, then forget about this when writing the shows and completely ignore them in the films (some like Daredevil seem to finally be getting acknowledgement, though last I heard it's the same actors, but no continuity with the show, and shows like Runaways, Clock and Dagger etc are still in limbo) or like MCU in the 2020a, where the shows actually impact the films and matter to the way the story is going.

JLA formed in 1942 in the Arrowverse. We met them in Legends of Tomorrow.

JSA was Hourman Vixen Stargirl Obsidian and Citizen Steel. JLA is The Flash White Canary Superman and Supergirl Martian Manhunter Batwoman and Black Lightning.

Having a Justice League without Batman, Wonder Woman or Superman is pretty much the dumbest thing ever done. Cap, Ironman, Thor and the Hulk are very popular characters and I wouldn't say secondary ones. MCU was successful because of the quality of writing for their movies as well as the characters. The DCU/Warner Bros didn't do as well because of the lack of better writing although I thought Batman vs Superman and the Justice League were both very good movies. I enjoyed them as much as the MCU movies. If Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman weren't a part of them, they would have not come close to being as good as they were. I still don't understand what some people had a problem with them. Not having Nightwing or Robin involved with any Teen Titan stuff is again, a very dumb thing to do. None of what you suggested would have been good and in fact, a disaster. There is no Justice League or Teen Titans without BM, WW, SM, NW or Robin period. You can't take out characters that started both those groups. You seemed to have done a lot of work making this video but sad to say, were way, way, way, way, did I say way, OFF? This like I said wouldn't have helped at all but made things worse. The best thing DCU can do is get rid of Warner Bros. They don't know how to make comic book hero movies at all. I mean look at all the Batman movies and terrible casting of the character. Affleck is the only one they got it right with. They included Robin in only two of them and they fucked up his character with both. No Nightwing has sucked as well. Warner Bros just don't know what their doing. Batman/Nightwing are my favorite comic book characters and it has driven me crazy how many times those morons have failed with a Batman movie. I did like the first one with Keaton. The Nolan trilogy is ok and like I said, loved B v S and JL. Affleck is the only time Batman looked like Batman should look like. The warehouse fight scene in B v S was the best live action Batman ever. Finally a big, strong Batman who manhandles the bad guys like he should. Everybody else cast as Batman were just o small to believe they were Batman. The difference between the MCU and DCU is not the characters, it is who made them.
