Alex, your shot selection should vary according to your opponents strenght and weaknesses in relation to y your strength and weknesses, for instance, you may find after several games that your opponents has a stronger backhand than you do and is winning a high percentage of the points when you have assumed a backhand crosscourt pattern..Under these cicumstances the risk of going for a lower percentage shot ( breaking the angle and hitting down the line ) maybe worth advantage that you gained..You should make every attempt to establish pattern you are confident with and that allow you to match your strengths against your opponents weaknesses wherever and whenever possible..I think you are going to be fine as you play more matches and gain more experience playing against top players in the tour..Keep an open mind and work diligently on your tactical and strategic components of your game..Remember, your ability to win is directly related to adequacies of your mental and tactical habits..So, good luck to your tennis carreer..Wish you all the best!

Congrats still Alex. You have improve a lot! Dodin is rank high on the WTA and you can hit really good. Need more tournament like this to build confidence specially on the approach without hesitation. More drop shots should be added on the arsenal. Still young and learning. Coach must introduce more on the net game since she is still strong and young.

You need alex more on baseline shots dont rush hit the ball you should relax your strokes
She has a lot of Potential. Ive been watching her for a couple of years now! Her Coaches are missing some real Basic stuff it’s such a shame. If I was Coaching her I’d have inside the Top 100 inside 18 months
she needs to be faster and stronger AND a Plan B instead of bashing every ball...her game is so predictable... use slices and dropshots... good luck!!!
