Secondary family pension- Dependent children Case study

The rules for secondary family pension are based on the Central Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 2021. These rules state that if a deceased government servant or pensioner has more than one widow, the family pension is divided equally among them. If a widow dies or becomes ineligible, her share of the pension goes to her children. But in case of a dependent child, male and female dependents are also considered.
