The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is now on sale! Prices range from Rs 2.03- 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The pricing makes the Scram 411 a wee bit more affordable than the Himalayan 400 that is currently priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
And they continue to get the pricing wrong? Had there been no Himalayan, the price would have still made some sense. But just a 5% difference to an alternative existing option with 20mm less ground clearance, reduces the TAM for this bike. And let's not forget the accessories to add to the total. RE, please position this under 2L pan India.
I just bought a Scram 411 as my first motor bike after the driving license. I am very satisfied because I am living in Transylvania and here are not just asphalt. I really enjoy riding 100-120km/h the maximum with it. 24 horse power is not bad but I wish a little bit more, when I make overtaking, like 45-50. I bought a gray-red one for 5200 euros in EU. Recommend for beginners, who wants to go with 130 km/h + should buy a street or sport bike.
The best part about this review is that you actually rode it in a full off road kinda style, like making few jumps and taking it over bigger rocks. Appreciate the hard work guys, nice video
Thanks for the good, concise review! I'm glad that the center stand will at least be offered as an option. I like having one on my bikes, they make life easier. Oh, and that's a GREAT looking bike! I already own the Meteor 350, and now I'm torn between getting a Classic 350 or a SCRAM 411... :)
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is priced from Rs 2.03 lakh to Rs 2.08 lakh ex-showroom Chennai, depending on the colour. These are introductory prices and position it below the Himalayan 400 that is currently at Rs 2.15 lakh ex-showroom Chennai.
I think RE is trying to sell the old stoke Himalayan to bring a new model in that adventure segment. Otherwise this one with a very small price difference doesn't make any sense. 🥴
If u are introducing the Himalayan as a scram 411 the most important thing that is still Missing are tubeless tyres, as any Himalayan user will say that's the most painful part of that bike if it encounters a puncture.
Although it is derived from Himalayan.. it is definitely a clever update. Because it has almost all the goodies of himalayan nd now it looks lot simpler, nd suites all road kinds insted of just mastering the Off-road. Good move RE.
The pricing is absurd . RE thinks that a person who can invest 2.08 lakhs on a bike would not invest 2.15 lakhs on a better bike. They must be selling the old stock of himalayan .
inshort RE has entered ADV market silently with least functionalities with Scram 411 whereas they'll keep Himalayn as off-roader version.... thats what i felt
They'll be discontinuing the 400cc engine so they want the remaining stock to sell so these minor changes may help in doing it quickly, that's what I think.
Off-road riders will prefer the Himalayan over Scram. It's a more complete package. RE should not try so frantically to compete with Yezdi. Should have taken their time to come up with something that will last for long in the market. Believe RE can definitely do way better ❤️
🙋🙋Can you put a comparison between ride quality and probable maintenance issues between RE Meteor and Scram? Because most people will be able to buy only one motorcycle for their rides. Which one should they buy between Meteor and Scram? 🙏🙏
Not sure why companies keep doing this and spend long hours and testing mentioning that this is a new vehicle... But just making fool of everybody and re launching the same product with different colours and some new panels... Such motorcycles doesn't need a dedicated video... Where 95% of the vehicle is the same and no thought was given to even at the design stage to make it different from the Himalayan 😀😀... This will soon meet the dust and Perish 😀
please guide me to choose me between royal enfield INTERSEPTOR 650 vs RE SCRAMBLER make a video is possible many new buyer’s are confused between the 2….
RE is now taking the market seriously, After the entry of Honda and Jawa/Yezdi. RE is in the deep pressure to provide the solid engine to compete with the legand Honda.
I was hoping for the scrambler seat and not the one close to Himalayan. If that was it I wouldn’t I have thought on picking this bike in the coming month.
This product is clearly due to RE being under pressure from the honda cb350rs and yezdi scram, both of which are quite good looking and suit their purpose well. This is a half hearted product just to stop the market share going towards competitors, the looks are bad( if not disgusting IMHO), engine is same as the Himalayan where you can hold only 80-95 before a lot of vibrations start coming, and at only 7000 lesser price it's better to go with Himalayan instead of this waste product. You'll get rev counter, full faired adv, bigger wheels and better off road capability, rear abs switch and a better looking bike with much more accessories and modding potential. RE should have stuck with launching their products like shotgun 650, and other 650- derived products.
it has been under development even before the announcement of yezdi's... it's actually a gud looking bike i would say... people who already thought of buying an re would definitely consider this new addition.
I think Yezdi scrambler has a more closer relation to an actual scrambler than this one. Although there is still room for improvement in Yezdi but it has the capability to become a pivotal product for classic legends.
it is an interesting option, just remove all of the electronics no abs no injector... companies should sell such versions good old carburetted basic bikes
Nothing has changed except the size of front wheel. They should know their chasis is a crap, where it breaks constantly and their gear ratio with very tall gap between 1st and 2nd is also of concern.eithier add extra gear in between or lower the ratios of the 2/3/4 gears.
😂 RE should be setting higher standards and trends. But you removed some metal stands from your old Himalaya, painted some fancy colour to it and tada... Your customers should accept it as scrambler. 😂

Rival for Yezdi Scremb!
Chennai price ( 2 lakhs 8 thousand + Road Tax 17k + Insurance 17k ) with Tipper
Almost 2 lakh 50 thousand
Mind says Classic 350
Heart says Scram
Wallet says CT100

I have ct 100, 2007 model
Considering the petrol prices ur wallet is helping u
I KNOW the feeling!

It's a sweet looking bike and I can see the reasons for some of the mods, but the original Himalayan is still the one for me
The best part about this review is that you actually rode it in a full off road kinda style, like making few jumps and taking it over bigger rocks. Appreciate the hard work guys, nice video
This guy has just pumped a new life to the bike reviews by Autocar👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
RE makes really good -bikes- colour combinations!
U go u fool re makes good bikes too😡
LOL! & a price tag too

It's just to make money... It's tasteless piece
In this hustle-bustle world of auto reviews, Rishaad comes across as a soothing voice to listen to.

Does it have single tone colours
Yezdi scram looks way better 🤷🏻♂️ Why RE proceeds with the same design as the Himalayan,,they should have gone for a new design
It's a Himalayan Scram 411, that's why. Only thing is the Himalayan part is not days out loud
It's almost 70k higher 😂
Cause they want to milk every ounce they can before doing r&d and launching a new product
I think RE is trying to sell the old stoke Himalayan to bring a new model in that adventure segment. Otherwise this one with a very small price difference doesn't make any sense. 🥴

Even himalayan suits all roads. It just looks different. The engine and the gearing is exactly same.
@@ganeshraj769 yeah. It has same engine gearbox nd chassis that's y I told it has all goodies of himalayan. 👍
Summary : Same soda with a Wrapper change...
The Himalayan is on my radar, but now I'll wait to test this. Would probably take months more to debut in Thailand.
I'm a powerdrift fan. But they somehow become a big tooo sweet when it comes to RE products
Nice bike ...but royal Enfield should also focus on demands of customers and release new updates in himalayan 411.
What we really need is an updated Himalayan with a 650cc displacement. That's all we need, Royal Enfield!
Exactly! They are wasting time with this crap bike
And a BS6 500cc classic
The pricing is absurd . RE thinks that a person who can invest 2.08 lakhs on a bike would not invest 2.15 lakhs on a better bike. They must be selling the old stock of himalayan .
Good point
I am a car guy but I do follow Rishaad's bike reviews quite closely.. for one, he prods me to shed some kilos.. like 30 extra kilos i am carrying!
It's going to flop horribly, RE under peer pressure from yezdi, took this abrupt decision. Devastating how RE is downgrading it's own benchmarks.

Couldn’t have put this better myself!!👍🏻
Yezdi scram much better
I think they are going to stop Himalayan and continue this scram411
Himalayan 650 are coming soon .

The price at 2.05L exS is 15k higher what I feel... It would have been a great deal if it was priced at 1.9L exS
Very nice review; thank you!!
Scram 411 or Classic 350? For daily use and weekend rides?
One of the underrated re bike ❤
I just love Rishaad's reviews 👌
And his pajamas.
someone mentioned the strange headlight fixture and now I can’t unsee it. also wish bike designs would do away with the stinger.
Tube tires?
in 2023, at 2.5L otr will this be more practical & preferable over the new Classic350?
They could have paired with classic 350 cc engine to this frame, that would have put different win win combination.
Younger brother of himalayan!
Nice motorbike. This model is awesome! Thanks for the review. Greetings from 🇧🇷 Brazil🇧🇷
Finally... Much awaited
I am planning to sell x-pulse 200t (3000km) and want to buy this, What is your opinion? Kindly suggest
IMO, A perfect substitute for current himalayan as it will be replaced with new 450cc himalayan (expected next year)
1:21 in this frame, the bike looks like a toy in front of Rishaad 😂
was that YEZDI SCRAMBLER shown jumping behind the anchor at start of the video?
A very welcome addition to the re family, re should also offer tubeless tyres and switchable abs. Certainly looks better than Himalayan.

Nope, yezdi beats this in every way.

Yezdi having more power than it wich was best sir according to u
Could have kick start in new versions.siddarth sir cost cutting?
RE read my mind...😍😍
The point is scram is more of a city bike. If it comes with 350cc, it'll be slightly better, interms of fuel efficiency.
Should go for Himalayan or scram 411 🤔
Not a genuine scrambler from RE ,Could have included more changes when compared to himalayan ,it's after all himalayan in a little less attire ...
what is the cruising speed of the bike???
Why doesn't it get tubeless tires if it's designed tor everyday use?

Seriously competition with honda? For what? Doemstic sales figures? Cult fan following?
@@sivateja4942 yea RE dominating in domestic market just like maruti dominating over toyota, Hyundai, tata etc😂
Honda's are not cheap. RE has cult following.
Wait so it’s a scrambler that can’t disable ABS? What’s the point then? Also disappointed it’s just a Himalayan with a smaller front wheel.

I was kind of excited till they talk about the engine 😞😞… 24ps !!!
its decent for the price
@@siddhantrs4545 ns200
Yezdi scrambler is far better looking bike then this and even in performance, this only has scram in name but it is a sasta version of himalayan
Still quicker than yezdi in in-gear acceleration and this engine is buttery smooth compared to yezdi
Less priced dominar gives you 40PS, but Himalayan is all about low end torque and not for high speeds
Does this have tubeless tyres?
What is it's top speed?
Requesting A honda Cbr150r review and impressions 🙏
Hi,
What is your height?
I'm 6ft, should I go with Himalayan or Scram 411?
Looks wise it's all similar to Himalayan, I don't know why RE bring this scrap.. it doesn't seems to be scrambler version
Thank God 🙏 love your videos was having a bad day and this made my day 🤩👏
How’s the clutch ?
Better than the classic

put a windscreen like the himalayan and it will look much more better
What is the expected next launch from RE ??
Every 6 months
Why the company still doesn't use LED lamps?
What is milega average. ??
Looks stunning with graphics

Now it's same design diff bikes RE supremacy🤣🤣
Why can’t they simply give us a standard bench seat at 840 mm
