    Can you do a similar video for the LSZ-1? I don't know enough about the different models to know what applies to my machine.

      We do not have a video for the LSZ at this time. Please read this blog for all LSZ compatible presser feet. www.sailrite.com/ultrafeed-lsz1-presser-feet

    Are the LSZ and LSZ-1 presser feet interchangeable ???

  • @densealloy
    @densealloy 2 года назад +3

    A video like this would be great for LS-1. A few additions to the line would be nice too.
    Here things I would like to see for LS-1.
    a narrow foot set
    edge guide feet sets
    Offer the smooth left foot by itself for those of use with the smooth set since we don't need another smooth inside foot and feed dog.
    Also that channel cut into the inside presser foot like the one on the fabricator would be a swell addition to LS-1 smooth feet sets.

      These are great suggestions too. Making all the outer and inner sections interchangeable across the whole range is such a fundamental strategy.

      I'm definitely in for a narrow foot set.

      We are always looking to add additional presser feet to our machines. We will definitely pass this information on to our R&D team.

      I just got in a set of feet from a maker who 3D printed them so the market is there!
      Plus the other manufacturers (consew, rex, reliable etc) producing machines that use these parts are not coming out with any aftermarket parts and everyone I know is using sailrite parts.
      It isnt uncommon to see a consew or rex with a monster wheel and/or sailrite feet.
      I'm sure r&d, setting up manufacturing, intial stocking etc isn't cheap and requires a fair amount of capital so I hope these get made.
      Thanks.

    Do the fabricator feet fit the LSZ-1?

    • @SailriteWorkbench
      @SailriteWorkbench  2 года назад

      The Fabricator presser feet are not compatible with the Ultrafeed. Please have a look at this blog for all the LSZ compatible feet. www.sailrite.com/ultrafeed-lsz1-presser-feet

    No need for walking foot machine unless youre sewing extremely thick materials. You can use a regular drop or needle feed industrial machine like a Brother 555 or Juki DDL with a 'wheel foot'.

      Hi, the sewing machine we use in this video is the Sailrite Fabricator. We have two offerings, The Standard and the Deluxe. You can find them on our website here: www.sailrite.com/shop/sewing-machines/table-mounted-machines?facet_machine_series=Fabricator

    Can the narrow foot set fit a consew 206RB5?

    • @SailriteWorkbench
      @SailriteWorkbench  2 года назад

      It should fit since the Consew 206RB and Fabricator are based off the same machine footprint.

    When are the edge guides going to be available for the LSZ?

    • @SailriteWorkbench
      @SailriteWorkbench  Год назад

      This project is currently with our R&D team. Because of the complexity of making a edge guide foot for a walking foot machine, we are still in the process of engineering this product. Unfortunately we do not currently have a date available.

    What happened to the sailrite blog (that is read only now) and is there any chance it would come back?
    Thumbs up if you would use the Sailrite blog and want sailrite to start it up again!
    I think alot of sailrite purchasers/users fall into a "newbie" to sewing and since the ultrafeed is in between a home machine and an industrial (excluding the fabricator) , info out there just isn't applicable.
    Additionally there are alot of us who are using sailrites for small leather projects and sailrite seems to be catering to us a bit more, maybe more so than in the past
    and we have a different experience than the "real" machine users have.
    The old sailrite blog had a lot of great posts and it provided a service unique to sailrite customers and can't be found on other forums like leatherworker.net that focus on other machines.
    There seems to be a gatekeeper mentality to some forums and the answers I've seen are along the lines of "get a real machine" etc.
    So having a place where us newbies/leatherworkers/makers/diy'ers etc can make posts, share experiences, interact with sailrite personnel and can give/get advice specific to our machines would be nice.
    I can't be the only one frustrated with the general state of forums and have the desire to get/share info with fellow lovers of Sailrite products. Am I?

      The Sailrite Forum was a great space for open conversation about the Sailrite machines, tools and projects. Unfortunately it had to be locked down and ultimately no longer used because of problems with the 3rd party software we were using.
      There are plans to bring it back so stay tuned!
