It's so hard to choose but I think just the scope of the mermaid kingdom is so much more than I ever expected. The new NPCs along with whatever else is waiting underwater is my most anticipated addition.
I’m super interested in seeing how relationships with the towns people is going to work in multiplayer. Like what if two of you want to marry Nina? lol
I am most excited about the Savanah Biome. I can't wait to explore all the nooks and crannies. Second, is the Merfolk. I am curious to see what situations/events will occur among our "under the sea" friends.
unpopular opinion, wish they would develop on the characters more, expanding the story and relationship with the NPCs. more interactions or places to hangout with them. it is such a big update, just none interesting enough for me to get back into the game. a little bit all over the place even.
They are adding a new 'hangout' mechanic and lots of new locations as part of the Town Rank A storyline. I think they are also continually worked on more 'slice of life" cutscenes and you have ther Merfolk character interactions all new. I htink the new locations will add a lot of new interactions at least, I hope.
Here is the funny thing. They are already 'fully released' even thou everyone knows that the game is incomplete. They are at least demanding full release cost
with the dino costumes for our farm animals we could create a little jurassic park :) maybe there will be a stone age type furniture set to go with the dino costumes. I think mythical creatures would also make cute animal costumes like unicorns, pegasus, griffins, phoenixes, etc. :)
I finally purchased a steam deck after years of waiting to play this game and I can't wait for it to arrive! Going through a bunch of your videos for a refresher ❤️

And yet they did not finished the actual plot game of the giants, just literally took out the cutscenes of the 4th fire giant on the village and the "WIP" quest.
When the dev blog first came out, I’ll admit I was disappointed with the lack of a timeframe or release date for this update. However now that I’ve gotten over those initial feelings, I can truly appreciate the size of this update and be excited for it! I really think it will feel like a whole new game, which is just the thing I need to come back to it ❤
This game has sooooo many bugs and crashes constantly. I also had to quit. Incredibly frustrating that they released the game unfinished and fully unplayable.

After years of playing the sims, picking up Coral Island is probably the best decision I’ve ever made. This is how I wish Devs and EA were. So exciting that I’ve only scratched the surface of this game and they plan to keep expanding! ❤

would really like to learn if multiplayer is married closer to the story and stuff or not.. like in sandrock, its not. all story is stripped out with just milestones to progress the game.. i wonder if its similar here or if the story is still intact. Because i do like stories of these kinda games, but i also preffer to play with my friends, and not solo.. but i cant dedicate time to play on 2 different playthroughs.
Very excited for coop. I don't have the same group of people to play with that I played way too much Stardew with anymore but seeing a game like this really grab its community thoughts like they're meaningful is refreshing always. I can't be the only one obsessed with co-op even when I domt have anyone to play co-op with😅right?
I got the Early Access version of Coral Island on Steam way back, can I still play it on Steam? I remember there was something about how you had to buy it again on Steam, is that true or not? How exactly does this work?
I really hope they make the heads more natural looking on the animals like cows and humans and mermaids and so 😮🤞✨ I will keep my fingers crossed (more costumizations to face and bodies etc (Hopefully more dateble characters like the Son' of the Semeru mermfolk👀🤩 So hoping for this one) cause" I like Semeru yet he seems like he could be my father in age' 😂😅 No metter how good he looks ! And let us change our nicknames from miss to , alien ,Or queen like whenever we want 🥂💃🕺 As we growin level as mermaids I hope my character sing well , I will Also love this 🎉❤ !
was there any update about outfits that can be worn as a mermaid?? My character is so bare I can't stand it 😂 The shirts that are being sold on land is out of place specially for male characters 😂 If there isn't, I hope they add it soon

i agree, i have 120 hours and although the characters are nice. i fel like once i'm done romancing them, then that's it.
