@3:32 Agree with you that hero bikes lose their engine refinement overtime. Been using hh karizma zmr since 2011. I was doing all the services from authorised service centre. Mostly used hero engine oil. About 6 months ago switched to idemitsu irg5 full synthetic engine oil 10w 30 after engine oil flush with liqui moly engine flush. This has done wonders. Engine is more smooth now , lesser vibrations, smoother gear shifts,better cold starts. My observation is that it's the engine oil. Use the same recommended grade as per user manual but a full synthetic (castrol/idemitsu/shell/motul) from a reputed brand can make differences. Also the fuel quality matters. I usually only fill from essar (now nayara) or jio/reliance pumps. Occasionally i also add liqui moly 4t shooter / speed shooter to my fuel to clear the carbon deposits. Also noted that the engine is more smoother in longer runs than in shot distances. Noticed So basically changing the engine oil to a full synthetic of the same grade as manufacturer recommended grade from a reputable brand makes difference. The engine oil from the service centre usually looses its charm after 500kms or so. Changing engine oils at regular intervals,lubing chains periodically, cleanin air filters (or replacing with new ones if needed), could do wonders. Also cold starts are very important . Atleast idle it for a minimum of 20 seconds before riding. For the first 5 kms ride normal speed with mid rpms until engine gets to it optimal temperature.
Bought the XMR on May 15th 2024. Post doing 2000 kms I've felt the bike is more refined than before also the pickup feels better. Have not faced any electrical issues except my stater switch which got changed under warranty
