Mike, when you are running spoons on the Dipsy Diver, what length leaders are you running from the Dipsy? Also what kind of snap swivels are you using to attach the Dipsy and to the leader? Sorry for all the questions!

Hi Rob. Ask all the questions you want my man! I'm running a 5.5 to 6 foot leader (I measure it by using my wingspan). I use size 2 or 3 Torpedo brand snap swivels. I have a mixture of both because a couple times I went to the fishing shop, they only had one or the other. So now I'm left with a mix 😂.

Hey Mike, Have you had any issues with your Xi5 bow-mount; specifically your hand-held remote causing your motor to develop Tourettes-like behaviour ?

@@odochartaighofodonegal9815 No issues as of yet. Mind you it's less than one year old. I take it you've had some problems?

@@bearbonesfishing A few of them, namely the unit twisting around in fixed course bearing and the unit powering off (without tripping the breaker). Had all sorts of recommendations- from bad wiring and bad motherboard to having to recalibrate the GPS compass. Finally broke out the remote foot pedal as a placebo and it worked fine. Turns out the hand-held units are not 'waterproof' but 'water-resistant' as the battery terminals were corroded. Just a heads up. I fish just down the road out of Bruce and follow your content. Keep up the good work and more importantly, keep those lines tight.

@odochartaighofodonegal9815 thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to keep the hand remote dry. Tight lines to you as well!
