Hello Marley's, How was your Monday, everything okay? 🙋🏻♂️💕 The series was interesting but I didn't like the explicit sexual scenes at all because they were unnecessary, it reminded me of Game of Thrones when there were even rape scenes and that even made me nauseous 😢 What do you think?

Explicit scenes don’t bother me too much but if I had a choice I wouldn’t add them myself because most of the time it isn’t necessary. I thought a small amount was necessary for the storylines regarding the purity of Rhyneara and Alicent as teenage girls and how Alicent perceived her own virtue in comparison to how she perceived Rhyneara. It plays a part in the breaking of their trust and friendship. Then later on how Alicent herself then commits the same acts she looked down on Rhyneara for. But I do think sometimes they add them for shock and not necessarily needed to push the story (like Daemon having his dream for example)
