Dave has simple lyrics usually revolving around generic subjects like women, money, and "roads" even though he hasn't been living that life for years. His music is made to appeal to the mainstream and play at events and clubs. Blanco's lyrics use much more intricate wordplay, they're also more relatable to me. End of the day it's an opinion, but Blanco miles ahead of Dave imo.
