When you have a dog like jack in his prime you just want them to carry on forever Never been so happy to see a dog win And to win his final race he deserves to go out on a high Happy retirement jack Adam can see how much that ment to you massive well done I can imagine over the last few months you’ve thought plenty times about jacks retirement but you no your dog best and with watching your videos I could tell you knew there was one more good run in him and for you to get that out the dog, shows off your training abilities Well done to you all and to the superstar jack🎉🎉
@@matt1794 I think he has lost a yard or two of space over the last 12 months and probably wasn’t the fastest in the race ( although he recorded good time) but he knows the track well & his track craft probably won him the race.
@@AdamSearGreyhounds Yes he used the track well to cover the other dog. My old trainer used to say, "they don't write the time on the back of the cheque". ;)
@@user-on6cj3ee3o He may have lost a bit of pace of late (although he recorded a good time) but you don’t lose track craft and Jack was a master at holding them off.
@@hayleyrose4443 It was a difficult decision made easy in the end. We have had 3 1/2 years of exciting racing from him, always gave us everything he had. & we have some great memories made along the way. I love him to much to let him go, so it looks like he will be staying with us.

@@johnwheeler2040 It really was, we probably could have gave him a few more races, but injury free & winning it only seemed right to finish at the top.
@@greyhoundsgonewild Unfortunately I can’t keep them all, but in Jack’s case he will most likely stay with us. Not just because what he has achieved, but he has a great character & can always cheer me up when I am feeling down.
That is so sweet! If we could keep them all, we all would, totally understand. I'm so glad he can put a smile on your face when you need it. They bring us so much joy each and everyday!!
