Hey bro, I aam prospecting one of SMU's Masters Programs. Since Im relatively new to writing personal statements and essays, I found your video very helpful in organising my thoughts surrounding the points that can be mentioned in my essays. Many thanks brother.
Sidetrack abit: Generally, all Army Officers have lot of advantages over others in all forms of applications. The advantages is simply that you have already proven you have leadership and command abilities. Next time if you are looking for a job, by indicating you served as Officer in your NS, half a battle won for the job pursuit.
It’s been some time since my interview but mainly they ask questions like why I deserve this scholarship, any side projs im doing now, passion/hobbies. If i recalled the conversation was mainly towards what I was doing then and in my spare time
Nope I didn’t have to go through the admission interview. But I heard from my friends they like to ask questions related to current world affairs, or like how covid affected businesses etc. good to read up on news and try to read up on the course and module which you can share in the interview to show interviewers that you know the course thoroughly

I got invited to apply and i had a cgpa of 2.8 💀
My friend got 3.7 but probably didn't pass his interview

nah they only care about your internship experiences, esp in fields like IB
Need GPA 4.0, ECA record from Poly then could secure a place in SMU?
I have also applied for SMU, and I don't know when the outcomes will be came, just waiting for the outcomes.

The fact is..... if your academic performance is fine.. you dont need all of them
But if you are aiming for scholarship then other things on your portfolio do matter
