Taylor made hates the fact that someone else can sell a set of irons at a reasonable cost that they can’t due to their endorsement deals in which they have to balloon their prices to pay their athletes . So basically the way are saying that Costco irons are as good as theirs
So apparently the Kirkland irons have a “urethane insert” similar to the polymer “speed foam” insert used by Taylormade , BUT…. Taylormade claimed in the lawsuit that the “urethane insert” claim is completely false and it’s false advertising …. Which leaves me questioning some things ..So was it completely hollow or did they use polymer like Taylormade…or perhaps something else… which is interesting when you consider how well they performed
Again Costco goes for the cheap advertising method, because Titleist is probably next because of the driver. So Costco gets there products out there for minamal cost for all the world to see, plus gets the endorsment from these golf manufactures that the product is as good as theirs, they are genius and because of the law suits will sell millions of there product because of the price point. Good on you Costco.
Ksig going to loose their ass on these clubs like they did on their golf ball with Titleist. Now the new Kirkland ball is junk and there next golf Irons will fallow up under the gen 2 I’m guessing will be crap also .. the major club makers will not put up for a second with Costco taking liberties with their patents.

Yeah, I did think that too. Very interesting stuff.

Yes, I agree. Very interesting thoughts!
They had it coming. Surprised it didn't happen sooner. That KS1 putter is far from a novel design.
In agreement! 👍

Very interesting take! It’s great! Thanks for sharing
Both are heavyweights. Taylormade wants to keep overpricing their product.
