To think I watched this movie again 3 days ago. Ageless, intriguing, passionate... Love to sing the songs too 😍😍
I watched this movie a couple of years ago in the cinema here in Uyo and it was super exceptional. For the first time, I sat down to watch an Ibibio dialect cultural film in a cinema and I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed it. The acts were so beautiful and natural.
This made me remember the late Ansa Bassey Kpokpogri (the Assistant Director of this film) who passed on before the AYAMMA movie hit theatres nationwide (or, maybe after it was released). So sad she's not here today to see the success this beautiful work she co-directed is garnering. May God rest her soul. 🙏
