    Another example of Glock leaving money on the table. Love my Glocks, but as a company, they make terrible (non) decisions. My PSA Dagger cost half what my 10 year old Gen 3 Glock 19 did, was cut for an optic, and came with better sights.

    • @Berserkable
      @Berserkable 5 дней назад +5

      This is false. It doesn’t shoot flatter because of the grip angle. It’s just annoying that it points slightly high but realistically the difference in your wrist angle is absolutely minuscule. It shoots different for everyone and for me the Glock is snappier than something like a VP9 or M&P9. My smoothest shooting 9 is easily my 320. Not the flattest shooting but gets back on target quicker than any of my other handguns and that’s more important than being flat. A genuine Glock with a frame like Magpul or Shadow Systems would be the ultimate handgun but the current Glock frame really holds back Glock imo. Hopefully when we get a Gen 6 it’ll improve the frame letting you choose a 1911 angle or a Glock angle for those that can’t change lol.

      Ehhhhh, that trigger pull test was a little suspect. He positioned the gauge at the absolute lowest possible point on the trigger shoe, which physics tell us will always measure the absolute lowest. If you take a stock Glock and do the same thing you'll get a pretty low pull weight too. The best practice for measuring trigger pulls is to measure at the point where the center of your finger would be where you naturally place it on the trigger, because physics tells us that this point is where the center of force on the trigger is being applied, which is where the true trigger pull weight will actually be felt.

    2 things I wish they did: Not cut the stupid circle “loaded chamber indicator” port on the barrel hood. These just throw gas & carbon on the optic. It already has a loaded chamber indicator extractor Ruger! The other is I’d like a cold hammer forged barrel. Otherwise, seems like a good pistol for the $

    • @celmer6

      A hammer forged barrel will up the price. It's Gen 3 Glock compatible so you can add whatever barrel you want. Having worked at the Ruger plant in Prescott, AZ when the SR1911 was released, I would recommend picking up one of these early RXM pistols. Ruger management tends to put their best people on a build line that is showcasing a new firearm, so that the early release models are typically built by the more experienced and proficient employees.
    After a few months and the excitement wears down, the build line is populated by the average employees, which are hired off the street by SOS Staffing and have zero experience with guns or manufacturing. I just ordered a new RXM while they are being made by experienced employees and Ruger is hungry for positive reviews.
