I’m now also a Dermatica customer. I decided not long after the skin care video you did (while having a tidy up of all my makeup that I gathered from across the house) that I could easily put a total stop to buying any more makeup for a year and invest instead in really good skin care. Except for mascara, of course. Now you’ve gone and brought out that palette!! I’m not going to buy it though - I’ll take this video as inspiration to shop the shadows, bronzes and blushes I already have and create my own version. I’ll probably learn a lot doing that too. Beautiful!!! And love those brushes - love you said the look ice cream colors ! they really do!! Would love to see more on your brows, you mentioned your appointment for adding a few fibers. I have thin, blonde lashes and am always looking for improvements. Great video, gorgeous look!
I love how you apply skincare and makeup, not slathering it on !! So many just seem to pile concealer and foundation on especially and its so refreshing to see you applying makeup with fingers, I much prefer using my hands to brushes etc !!

Loved hat caroline, such a learning curve as initially i thought it was coming across as a but too strong but then at the end it was not at all!!!

Caroline your skin before makeup is beautiful!!! It really looked fantastic, lucky you! Ive been absolutely lusting after the Elephant Hourglass palette but my local Sephora is out of stock and being limited edition Im assuming they wont get anymore in. It was going to be my xmas present to myself.

The last two years I have waited for the pat McGrath Black Friday sale and purchased the little lipstick packs for girls in my life but for me I buy the big Christmas palette-@ 40% off. To me that palette sparks joy 1. Because I can’t afford a mothership palette (or don’t want to afford, refusing to spend aud$220), 2. there are colours I would not normally buy and they challenge me, 3. It feels fun every time I reach for it, 4. It’s great quality.

How absolutely stunning you look. Super. I keep being told that sheeny eyeshadows won't work on my ancient eyelids and I try hard with the matte ones but they look terrible too. Oh my goodness! You look so lovely that I had to put the Tiger palette into my Sephora bag, together with a sneaky Givenchy Prisme loose powder. The Ordinary serum foundation looks amazing on you. Have you ever used the concealer? The Hourglass palettes are pretty but as a 63 year old with post menopausal skin, I always thought they are too shimmery for me. I may give one of their products a try.

Are you getting your brows micro bladed? If so I’ve been having mine down for the last few years and love them. I’m 52 & blonde with hardly any brow, until now. They really frame my face & look so natural. It doesn’t hurt, I could fall asleep while my technician is doing them. xxx

I love hourglass mascara, brow products and powder but I find the ambient lighting blushers, etc are too blingy for daytime, if you know what I mean. I always end up looking too made up. I love the whole story behind those animal palettes though and they look absolutely gorgeous. Not sure I would spend that much on them when I know I’d only use it at night time.
I adore the Hourglass tubing mascara, it's my hero.

Caroline can you give me advice on covering dark blue veins on my lower face I find it so hard to cover and even with concealer it still comes through. Love your chats and videos, such a shame we dont get beauty pie or dermatica in Australia.
Have you tried something peachy? I use the Charlotte tilbury peach corrector on mine and it does a pretty good job at neutralising the blue
Bobbi Brown do an excellent range of correctors - to diminish under eye discolouration. Then they suggest you apply a concealer on top. Consultants on counters are always happy to demonstrate and shade match for you.
Well our lovely beauty tribe have dived in to help! Great advice below and you might want to look at Dermablend which can cover tattoos. Use lightly though and powder to set

Oh I'm going to try The Ordinary foundation - a good price point for everyday use. My skin has not been enjoying the foundation I've tried for work. It's left my skin feeling so dehydrated and looking like a shrivelled up old prune 😅. Thanks for the recommendations as always.
Do you have to give up tretinoin to microblend your eyebrows? If so, how many days before and after the procedure?💕
Thanks Caroline! To your point about concealer amplifying lines around your eyes - that’s my issue. I’ve just turned 40 and my crow’s feet have gotten way more noticeable as of late. I struggle because I want to lift the area around my eyes and love your technique to add light around the dark areas of the face. But no matter which brand or texture of concealer I use I seem to find that anything near the outer corners of my eyes makes me look older. Do you recommend avoiding that area altogether? Or maybe I’m just doing it wrong!
Meant to also add my favorite outdoor lights are CB2 Edison lights but not sure if they deliver to England? They’ve been my favorite mix of offering good light but keeping the mood relaxed.

I keep feeling like the background is either too bright against your hair & skin, or that it needs a shift of focal length to put you into stronger relief
I love the greenery, but I keep finding dyslexic focus keeps wondering why someone so beautiful isn’t radiant against her own background
