I’ve got good news for you, just because you get older doesn’t mean you have to grow up. Age is all in your head.
Once you get to your 40's, you realize that it's not actually that old.
Theese are some damn honest opinions. Honest criticality backed up with a tons of field experience is invaluable thing on modern competitive marketing world, where everyone is just lying about products to make themselfs a buck. Great video Ola!

Totally....It's just one reason why Ola's channel has blown up on youtube. He gives sensible, honest advice - and we can all smell it. :) Nice cases, both of them....Although I think the Quantum one with the completely removable lid might be a bit problematic in terms of rock solid seal?....
@@joesatchton212 Hey Joe so theres a thick aluminium frame that runs all along the side of the lid and body that locks into itself. and we chose the 4 password locks for the touring edition on all 4 corners (with 2 centre locks) to make sure the case wont open unless you want it to open.

Not me. I'd have to buy dozens to accommodate my hoard. However, I seriously doubt most hardcore touring guitarists/bassists would travel with more than 2-3 guitars anyway.
Ofc, the pro touring big name talents who may be traveling with more BUT there are other solutions specifically for transporting literally dozens at a time at way bigger budgets.
Quantum's products are not for these big fishes, it's obvious they're intended for the "smaller" fishes who have to pay their own way and can only bring up to 3 axes.
I see on their website that they have 2 other versions, one for v type (and other pointy or big bodied) guitars and one for bass, baritone or any other really long guitar, like an Ibanez XH300, which is really a "regular" ~26” scale guitar that is so big I had to use a bass gig bag which just BARELY was big enough to contain it!
They're kinda pricey at ~600$US, but may well be worth it, if ye be transporting >6000$US worth of guitars!

Before the video started, I was wondering why see a video of a guitar case for a tour? I don't play in a band or anything like that, but Ola's rolling the case made my day!!! 😂

The Quantum case would make a nice alternative to wall hangers or stands for home or studio use. Look nice in the corner with the top off.
These are what we need at affordable prices. Even if we aren't touring, we still like to get to smaller gigs near by. Guitar collectors can also feel more at ease with these for home invasions. I'll probably invest in the Enki when they can store 3 guitars.

As an owner of an Enki, I would invest in the Quantumn. You won’t get a triple Enki at the price of the Quantumn considering their double case basically the same price as this triple case.
I'd certes consider them for use in storage too. I'm having problems with having bulky HSC of varying sizes and shapes that just hold ONE guitar that each takes up so much room.
The fact that the lid can completely come off means that I could just slide the case out just enough to access the latches, take off the cover, pull/put the desired guitar out/in, pop the lid back on and slide the whole thing back into the shelving. Easy peasy!
Quantum, if ye could create a cheaper version just for such storage use, I'd buy a dozen for use in my storage room!

I need a multicase asap.. I always have at least 3 guitars with me and getting tired of lugging around all of these cases lol. Definitely don't need one as fancy as this one though.

The headstock of the first guitar in the Quantum case was way to close to that flexible side wall for my comfort level. I'm still liking the Enki better, good review.
Hi dude there's a few features Ola maybe didn't notice. One of them is the neck support has a gigantic aluminium support bar inside it, also the cases have a skeletal aluminium support structure over the wide surfaces that may have impact. Don't worry we seriously thought about all of these issues and have been pretty crazy in testing. you can see some of our tests at our instagram @quantumindustriesinc thanks man
@@quantumindustriesinc Hi, I think overall you make a great case and the things you mentioned certainly make a difference. I just noticed the side wall flex a bit while Ola was showing it and I felt that a side impact might end up causing damage to the headstock, just meant as an observation, not trying to be mean. Good luck with your cases, I'm sure they'll be a success.
@@chugchug3063 Haha no worries we actually love honest feedback as we always want to make sure our cases are higher in the arms race with baggage handlers. As for the case it does indeed have a little flex on the resin, but I can assure you the aluminium skeleton keeps the shape. I want trampolining on one the other day there's a little stretch in the widest areas but nothing that will get anywhere close to the headstock. Around the neck protectors is a solid block of aluminium hidden inside that restricts side pressure across the neck area and some other aluminium support pieces throughout hidden that reinforce any areas we felt had risk of high pressure. you may be able to give the neck area a little flex as theres a tonne of empty space there for 100% of guitars, however around the bodies and headstocks its tough as hell
My favorite multi guitar case is just a bunch of towels wrapped around them.

I dunno. The design is cool. I wanna see you fly with them. I have had standard hard cases f'd up by the airlines. Had to graduate to an iSeries case for my guitars and basses. Knock on wood (plastic), there hasn't been a problem. My friend's band opened for a big name headliner. I was encouraged that they were using the same case as myself. Let's get some miles on that case and see how it goes...
Hey Dave we've flown with them 10+ times ourselves and so far everything has been safe and we launched pre lockdown and had quite a few artists flying with them before the tours got cancelled. They've been tested brutally and specifically designed to be anti asshole baggage handler friendly.
@@quantumindustriesinc I can appreciate your feedback and that youz guyz have tested and flown with them. The design that you have with the guitar/bass combo has caught my interest. I have only flown once to do sound/light on 2 shows since the woohaan and I always fly with at least one axe. May get one once live shows pick up. P.S. Yep, a'h' baggage handlers bought my first heavier duty case. No axe was harmed in the making of this comment. Lol
@@dastardlydave1455 Haha no worries we're pretty speedy on communicating with everyone! It's like an arms race with those guys. The big carry bag is given exactly for the reasons Ola said. The case is too nice to catch their eyes after check in so we hide the case in the "condom" so they don't take special interest in it! haha. Are those thinner pieces of foam for putting between the guitar bodies?
The cases from us have 6 pieces of foam (Olas model was sent a while ago out of first production and we are shipping over the extra foam slots) 3 of the foam blocks are for adjusting spaces above the guitars and we have 3 longer slices in any orders that can sit between guitars too.

$600 for the GTX01, the one in this video, is a bit steep. There are extended range and weird shaped guitars like the explorer and v case (VXP01) available for pre-order for $700. How does that compare for price for the other cases Ola showed?
Hi Schof the case is incredibly difficult to build and we are using high grade resin that is crack and pressure proof. Also not shown in this video is the aluminium skeleton and support structures hidden under the higher grade EVA foam. Our EVA foam is fabric coated and also all the TSA locks and Japanese tough Hinotomo wheels all create a very premium but very precision finish and high grade case! VXP01 is on offer right now for $499.95 for any people that back the project and preorder for only a $100 deposit! thanks!
Id be interested in the first tombstone looking case but i dont know if it fits 26.5" scale baritone guitars. There is no information on the QUANTUM INDUSTRIES website that mentions scale length. I dont want to put money down on it and find out that i have to send it back to Japan because it wont hold my Bartone.

Haha Sergei we were relieved when our case is also super suitable as a studio display case and a stand for guitars when live. Surprisingly everyone is so happy having them at home in their band rooms because of the easy access Ola displayed in his review!

How does a 27” 8-string fit? Is it to tight?

No seriously, that's really the best way to secure your gear, and it will follow you for the rest of your life! But it's a big investment, saddly not everyone can afford such a good quality gear like that...
Maybe Solar will propose us a good and cheaper alternative?!?
Have you ever think about that Ola? You propose us wonderful guitars at a fair price (or at least at a honest price) so maybe you could propose a good line of gigbag, soft and hardcase, and big cases like the one you show us on this video...
I bet you could have success with that, you made a fucking great reputation for your Solar guitars so I'm pretty sure you could benefit it for a protecting gear line like that...
