I remember going on board this remarkable vessel at a Navy Days open day in Portsmouth as a boy.

I think I saw it in Portsmouth too. It seemed to sit low in the water and therefore appeared very streamlined. Something special about that ship.
I was in the RN from 1965 to1972. HMS Bulwark and HMS Chichester - Radio Electrical Mechanic.
One of my best ever photos was a B&W shot of 2 Buccaneers from HMS ARK Royal (I think) in the Indian Ocean about 1967 high in the sky above a huge cloud formation with the sun behind the cloud.

@andyjohnson2027. And when Britain was majority White. Now it seems that the Islam have taken over. Rest In Peace White Britain and White America. Sad but true.

@andyjohnson2027. Oh. And I forgot to mention. When it was run by the White People everything ran right. Now the same as the USA everything is running backwards and there are only problems. Now we are both Third World Countries.

Current UK so called 'carriers'... .. big. but nothing like US carriers, lot of good looking, but empty acreage... they are esentially a helicopter platform only... the F-35B is a USMC type close support aircraft, not a fleet protector or general strike aircraft... , no real carrier skills for the Brits on this one... end of a long legacy of 'real men's' naval aircraft... woke RN - sorry fellas
