@@tshepangmotshwane7902 bought one in Jan. If you can afford to get some stuff fixed I would 10/10 recommend it. it’s a great car but fair warning if you’re getting one over 100k be ready to spend on things like the water pump, coils etc. get a maintenance plan 🤞🏾
I’m on 170000km heading towards 180000km service maybe towards year end. All you need for this car is proper maintenance and service .anything mechanical don’t take chances trying to save the buck .it will reward you with long life and less break downs. Like any other car as it ages you’ll change some critical parts but once you do you’ll never be bothered.this car is a good overall built golf. One more thing, get the best oil for this car and your engine will reward you. Always go for longlife high performance oil. Preferably from the dealer or Castrol oils. Wear and tear parts you can always get from goldwagen like break disks. But break pads I always get from VW. Break disks from VW are always better though .
The 7.5 GTI is most definitely peak Golf GTI and it offers a more complete package if what a golf GTI is than the Golf 8 . Be it looks , adaptability, handling , sportiness, this car just does everything it is set out to do and it does it so well . I definitely agree with you when you say it's difficult to fault cause it's damn near faultless. Awesome review as always . Love the gearshifts by the way . It sounds freaking epic 😍 🙌🏾
This may sound silly but I love the revmatch noise on a downshift in this car. It's just such a satisfying sound 🍃 Thanks for the review! I hope you get to try out the golf 8 on test
Mine is the grey and is at 25k km now. I test drove the 8 and fell in love with this on first sight. No gti compares to the tcr. It’s a definite keeper and so easily spotted on the road amongst the other versions and best of all only 300 were released in SA. On eco and comfort mode this car is definitely economical as a daily driver.
The golf 8 is a bit too grow up for it's liking. It was definitely made for looks and tech. It seems like Vw really got the whole equation wrong there other than that please keep on doing more great reviews.
Ok so Im a female and I bought this car in 2020. My irritation is that most people, including VW think a man gave me this car. I really don't understand the logic in 2023 kodwa ke. My opinion, I really feel I need to buy the Golf R 4 wheel drive cause I feel it slips at the back a lot. I've learned and changed my driving since buying this car. Otherwise, honestly for the price...its value for money hands down. This is the only car I have that has held its value seen buying it.
@@mohaumokhethi8625 they are hard to come by these golfs I have been looking for one too then realised they are almost similar with polo GTI 2014 upwards in price range and high mileage 🤦🏿♂️ just make me dizzy
I'll always reccomend the 7.5 over the 8, the 8 is a more relaxed car, maybe nicer to be in depending who's asking, but yeah. Great Review man.
Is it wise to buy a Golf 7.5 Gti with over 100 000km if it was well taken care of?

The last best golf gti , still hoping to buy one no matter which year I buy it
7.5 GTI Akra slip on and a APR downpipe with a Racingline lowering kit is a dream 🥲
I'm so glad I chose this car over the golf 8.

I love how your creation on this video I'm in love with this car. Keep up the good work brother
Honest review compared to mk8, I'm just concerned about fuel efficiency
The Cross✝also feeling the pulling power😂😂🔥🔥❤🔥
Love the content! Great review of the MK 7.5 Gti. I would love to own one someday 🙂
Best performance value from VW right now
SPACERS AND DROP DOES EVERYTHING
Wondering what kind of rear diffuser that is..?
The only VW car I love
Nice review Grootman 🔥🙌🏽

The spacers front and rear wheels have how many mm?
Thanks!
Dope review🔥🔥

Does all 7.5th got a dq250 6-speed auto gearbox until the 8th ? my 7.5th a bit jerky when it shifting not sure if its a common problem
Isn't this Given's car?
If I cant have this car especially Clubsport then I am buying a Focus ST anything from 2015 upwards GTIs are too expensive yho ay 🙆🏿♂️😰😰😑😁
Mo-hale's 7.5

Just ignore em. You know you worked for it. Head up and keep driving ✊🏽
Also, what do you mean by it slipping at the rear?
@@Bahle_Gajiit understeer since it’s FWR the rear wheels tend to lose traction
@@Awethu_ngoza I get it under steering but I thought they meant it slides out from the rear like a rwd car. Interesting
Is the Golf 6 GTI still a good buy?
Yeah definitely if it’s well taken care of but get a 2012 model if you can , that’s the last year of golf 6 production.
@@mohaumokhethi8625 they are hard to come by these golfs I have been looking for one too then realised they are almost similar with polo GTI 2014 upwards in price range and high mileage 🤦🏿♂️ just make me dizzy
Golf 6 gti is the best out of all gti versions, no common issues with a G6! G7s you buy from 2016 onwards
Please ask the owner where they did their downpipe
Rouge Performance
What about the fuel?is it heavy or not?
I usually get 430km per tank. Depends on how you drive. Highway i get 480-500km depending on how many speedcams the road have😅

Just drive on eco will not regret Friday sports haha😂
Fuel is not so bad, i get +- 500kms with whipping it everyday🤣
Slaughtering the streets of the Blyde 😅
Nope, this car will get stolen or hijacked quicker than you can say your name. Good luck to anyone whoi wants this car !
Depends on the areas you drive. Got mine for 5 years and I'm in Cape Town. My comprehensive insurance is R1050pm and I'm 31 now. Great car.
