I know this case too. The customer sends the device on Monday, it arrives on Tuesday morning, and in the afternoon they ask whether it has already been inspected and is repairable. Yes, of course, I've been sitting here without work, just waiting for his device...
One day i was watching your content and you told stuff about being a car salesman, and while i was listening to the story, ur a very nice person. My mom pass away when i was 6,she never had the chance to teach me, the things i learned from you, im si great full to you, you were very nice hearted person, may God bless you your family your job, Bless your office, bless your staff and in everything you do wish you a successful, Sir i know that you also know, what you taught us about the car sales in last video, you taught us viewers with full honesty and i appreciate your positive attitude nothing more than big ❤️❤️❤️ & 🙏🙏🙏 India Meghalaya.
I can feel the satisfaction of successful repair. Im just done repairing my 40" toshiba tv power board. Replacing mosfet still short. Replace thermistor still short. Replace bridge diode & succeeded. Take a lot of breath to make it done. All inspired by you sir
as i'm sure many don't know; Sockets are replaceable, not worth the money on low-end Mobo's but a Z class chipset like the one in the video is well worth it the socket itself costs 20 $ from china and is a BGA component
I did the same exact CPU Socket Pin with 2 needles a couple of years back. I still have the working motherboard, as a matter of fact, I'm typing from this computer Overcloacked @ 5.1 ghz.
your talent and dedication is really impressive, I love your videos and thanks to you I created the courage to try to enter the field of electronics here in Brazil, of course I am still looking for a good course that encines well as you do in your videos, thanks for passing on your knowledge to all of us, brazil thanks😉👍
1:20 I advice to heat a little area where the bend pins are. I think some about 80 degrees Celsius should make the job easier making pins softier and also more resistant to break. This is from my personal experience

Maybe the customer just pack the item that you need to repair in that shirt, because he didnt have foam bubbles or so one 😂 And thats why it have parfume on it, becase its his old shirt that is used to secure the item in package hahaha
Good thinking. I have received boards packed in old window curtains TWICE. As you said, customers said they had no bubbles, and they used what was handy.

Straightening pins is probably one of the more nerve-wracking things you'll ever do. Mainly because not only do you only have so many tries. You can only move it so fast. If you slip or just put too much force into it. You'll snap it right off. Ask me how I know.
Hey, love your vids, learning so much from your technical demonstrations, but you possibly tell.me what repair wire you are using, or share a link to where I'm able to purchase some... Thank you keep up the good work
The straight jumber on the flex cable should have gone to pad beside it too since the pads were joind under the flex cable but had both pads ripped off!
good morning from greece bravo for the amazing work you do we learn a lot of things we as an amateur deal a question if you want to answer what diameter cable you use for the connection

Never understood how people end up bending CPU pins?... it's not rocket science to install a CPU. Bought a used Asus, socket 1366 motherboard one time that wouldn't post, got it real cheap and it looked new, not roughed up. Turned out a few bent pins on the CPU socket, and one missing jumper for the CMOS... board then posted right up. Been running excellent ever since.
HAI SIR... I GOT A QUESTION... HOW MUCH BLOWER TEMP N AIR USE FOR IPHONE MOTHERBOARD, LAPTOP MOTHERBOARD, MAC BOARD AND ANDROID BOARD.. FOR QUICK BLOWER...... PLSSS
I think is because this way they can make a standard connector. Those duplicate pins are used so the conector can have 30 pins, not 23. That way it can be on a size easy to connect. Other reason is that sometimes the tension is big, so a single ground pin may not be enough. That’s my opinion.
when I'm trying to remember a bunch of traces and contacts like that I'll take a picture and print it out really quick then pen in lines for the traces and where everything is supposed to be going. otherwise I will 100% forget something and get something wrong or end up searching for hours for schematics and diagrams. if you can do it by memory your brain works better than mine.. which isn't really much to gloat about lol.

Good luck finding a shop that wants to solder on BGA components or even has the stuff to do so.

one of the most satisfying fixes on this channel.
such amazing precision and technique its really a joy to watch.
kissing that wannabe arnolds ass huh
Most people would have thrown the board after facing that level of damage, but he however easily repaired it. Amazing.

stop kissing his ass he is a crook
What about the pin that fell into the socket? Isn't that a shorting hazard? Otherwise amazing job. You have way steadier hands than me.
It goes into ninth dimensions and it lie next to capacitors and resistors so it is not a problem now ;)
wondered same thing. had to rewind and look twice to make sure I saw what I thought I saw.
You can replace the damaged pins with the heat gun, works like a charm, no need to replace the whole socket
Good luck taking on that task😂
Your video’s are infectious, I just can’t stop watching them ❤
an impossible job. you are a miracle worker! i was rooting for the pass.
I really respect your hard work, sir. This is valuable knowledge for me. Thank you, greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩

for bad intel cpu pins, If you pre heat the pin with solder iron I believe failure are less frequent.
I wanted to say the same thing. Prevents from breaking.
Brilliant work, love your videos 🇬🇧
We will do something else in the next video
first thing I check when I have a bent pin is its usage. If it is just power or ground you can put a lot less effort into fixing it
Your talent and skills are amazing, awesome job sir!
Should the 3rd wire repair have been connected to the pad next to it aswell.
Well spotted. I forgot that as well and that's why I would jot down a quick diagram for a job like this and not rely on memory.

Is it possible to change the socket .?
Why don’t you use awg cables like the awg 30 to fix traces ?
True awesome job
Loved this
You can see clearly that pin is burnt to a crisp that means he either overvolted the cpu or it touched other pins
can the green stuff you used be used to cover an old pc board that looks like the traces have warn out?
Bravo!
Plot twist: Anders is an Uber driver and someone forgot this hoodie in his car.
At least what happend to mother board socket? did it work?
Why do companies add so many ground pads when keeping just one or two might simplify the design ?
I think is because this way they can make a standard connector.
Those duplicate pins are used so the conector can have 30 pins, not 23. That way it can be on a size easy to connect.
Other reason is that sometimes the tension is big, so a single ground pin may not be enough.
That’s my opinion.
Was the green pump alcohol?
Art!

Were could I purchase the green glue used to hold down wire jumpers in place?
Search for solder mask
