It’s so nice to see Florence again. We were just there this past September. It’s so beautiful with all the Christmas decorations this time around and Florence is always one of my favorite places in Italy 👍
We were there earlier this month. We watched a jazz band on a street corner play “When the Saints go marching in” and listened to an opera singer on another street. Absolutely magical and we hope to be back soon as full-time residents
How beautiful Florence looks , I was there many years ago and it was beautiful then , I’m glad they have preserved her beauty, not like the filthy city I am stuck in , London 👍

My dad was born in Bovino,Foggia.All my relatives are gone except for 1 aunt,I was born in the USA I sometimes think I wish I could live there but to old now.
The piazzas are very inviting point of gathering, the architecture speaks much of Italian culture and tradition, what it called my attention was the fact that many stores don’t even bother to decorate their windows according to the season and celebration. As a customer I wouldn’t even bother to stroll the stores. Not fun! 😅
“if you like the city”. Are you serious?😁. One of my favourite cities on earth, adore Florence. For an architectural historian, Italy has no equal, absolutely extraordinary. ❤
