*very rare* Hellenic Air Force F4 Phantom at RIAT 2023

- My first time seeing the rare F4 Phantom operated by the Hellenic Air Force, we where even treated to it arriving back at Fairford after its transit over french air space was denied due to ATC strikes.

All extraordinary footage of this unique aircraft, the F-4 is one of my favourites of fighters, And hope you had a great day spotting, always keep up what you do, and to what you enjoy, for always I’m sure many look forward to seeing more great works from you any day, as it gets betters by everydays! 💯👍
The F4 is the bad ass old muscle car of fighter jets.

We saw this too! It was a really odd experience for me, as it was a bit like a time travel exercise. It took me back to my childhood watching these mighty aircraft at all the airshows I went to.
Pity you didn't have a wind baffle!! So annoying!
That sounds awesome, i would love to see one actually fly a display. it was a shame i had no wind baffle however the beauty of the phantom almost makes up for it!
Thanks for the reply. Yes, as a child back in the early 70's, my all time favourite pile of heavy metal was the Phantom. I had a lovely Airfix kit of one which 'flew' several thousands of hours on missions around our lovely long garden! 😊.
Seeing them up close and loud at airshows was an incredible thing. Seeing the Hellenic Air Force one at RIAT was wonderful and brought back some very happy memories. Amazing that they still had them in service!!

@@aviation747 Beeing a Kid of the 80s, I tell you they have more Character! F-4, F-14, F-15! F-35 on the other Hand is a ugly hybrid multi-role Fighter... Many countries have it in Service but I don't like it! Not a Poster Jet...
