THRIFT FLIP: How to Resize Levi's Jeans || taking in oversized jeans at the waist with sewing

For today's Vlogmas I went with a thrift flip😁 I decided to take in an oversized pair of jeans I thrifted at the waist and back seam, and it wasn’t a complete fail🤩 this was my first time doing this and I love how they came out and am so excited to style them, and repurpose them!
I hope you all enjoyed this little how-to video, and found it helpful! I tried my best to show each step I did to resize the jeans! I thrifted these Levi's 550s from goodwill last week for $7.99 and am so happy I was able to downsize them to fit me!

Great job, especially for a first try! I've got some beautiful thrifted vintage Levi's collected over the years and haven't worked up the guts to tackle sizing them down yet... but definitely should! Maybe I'll try practicing on some generic men's denim first LOL!!!
There's a channel called Lydia Naomi on youtube, really awesome for anything sewing related, including denim! I definitely need to go back and watch some of her vids about resizing the waist on denim... she's got some great hacks!
