El-Why-Es Errytime you say Liss (LYS) it makes my brain go HUH??? 😂 I hope that helps anyone else in case they want to look up that brand from her reviews 😊
I don't know why she kept calling it that. I could have sworn she tried a few of their products when they first hit the scene. And I know that's not how she pronounced the brand. I'm so confused lol...
Best investment I ever made in my foundation collection is a white mixing pigment to lighten all of my foundations that are too dark. Then also bought a dark shade of the L’Oréal True Match foundation to mix for foundations are too light. Now no more waiting to be lighter or darker in my skin tone! Things go bad too quickly to be waiting around. 🤟🏻💛
Hey, Mandy! I can’t remember if you’ve tried the L’Oréal Panorama mascara yet? I think it’s going to dethrone my Maybelline Sky High. It does not budge. 😊
I really wish you would go look up Sheglam as a Chinese owned brand and how they treat the women and children....yes children.....that make these products. It is disgusting to me and I can only hope it would make you and others feel the same. Long, long hours for pennies per hour, but the child labor is the worst.
Unpopular opinion, people who wear so many hydrating face products they look like they are sweating. I'm in my fifties and when I was younger people would be using a special wash for oily skin.
I bought and used the essence keep me covered foundation last week. I have fair skin and freckles so I usually try to get the shade in the fair or classic ivory category. I bought the fair shade and it is almost too light for me. It is decent as far as coverage if you use a decent primer but I plan to use it as a summer foundation for when I’m just out running errands in the heat. I have extremely dry skin so it may do better as I’m sweating and after I’ve used a decent amount of bronzer lol but my advice to anybody who wants to try it is get a “shade up”. 😊
I have reduced my makeup to my faves only. I still need to reduce it more. I have things I just don’t use or am not crazy about anymore. And now that I’m in my 60s my skin requirements are different and much of my makeup doesn’t work right for me anymore. I’m loving my Elf and NYX products. I bought my first ND palette of Need a Nude and love it. I have 6 Marc Jacobs palettes left and 2 Colourpop. I got rid of the rest of my shadows. I am thinking of getting the mini ND My Dream for travel. Watching your videos is so helpful. I’m similar coloring to you but more neutral-cool toned. Your reviews are very helpful and enjoyable. Thanks so much. ❤🥰
I’m almost 60 and there are some formulas and colors that just don’t give me the look I want. I find when I put my foundation on while my moisturizing skincare and/or SPF is still dewy it looks fabulous. So smoothing. I should say for most foundations. What do you find is your most flattering foundation if I might ask. I love Shishedo foundations a lot for one. Thank you.
I wear tinted SPF and tinted moisturizer. I don’t like foundation and have been blessed with nice skin. I spot correct with a concealer and set with a powder. The only foundation I have ever used is Laura Gelller Baked Balance and Brighten@@TracyD2
I love your videos and you have excellent reviews of products plus a good grasp on what works well. My only issue is you talk so fast I miss things. Grant it I’m probably one of your older fans but I’m someone who tells all my friends about how great you are👍🥰❤️
Hey Maddie, why are you not popping up in my feed? I am subscribed to get everything but you’re not coming up. I’m hoping you haven’t been hacked. I have to go type your name in to pull your videos up. What’s going on with RUclips? I only have a few people I’m subscribed to and you are one. I’m disappointed with RUclips not with you so today I will binge watch a couple of your videos and comment because that’s how I can help and I’m on a no by this year thoroughly convinced that any pallet that comes out, I have the same damn shades Over and over and over and once on the eyes, you can’t tell the difference anyways, I’m done with my rant
I really appreciate your review of the Sheglam bronzer. I love the Winky Lux bronzer that is very similar, but I wasn't sure which color to choose of the Sheglam because I need something cool-toned. I'm going to give the Sheglam one you reviewed a try because it's much more affordable than Winky Lux.
PLEASE can you do a Full Hair routine, Favorite Hair products, etc! I commented on your last video and a lot of people commented on it.. ❤ My hair is similar curl to yours and would love your recommendations, tips, tricks! 🥰🥰
Hi Mandy. Good review. I was given the Live liquid highlighter and mix it with moisturizer and it creates dewey moisture like you'd get with the Elf Halo Glow.
Great video, as usual! I would love to see you do a video on the popular cream-to-powder eyeshadows like those offered by Thrive and Julep. Are they any good? Thanks!
If you're in the US you can find them at Ulta and some CVS stores. Their eyeliners are the best ones I've ever used. They stay put in the waterline for half the day on me. I've tried Marc Jacob's, Bobbi Brown and UD's and theirs beat them out. I refuse to buy from any other brands now. There is a downside. The color selection isn't wide enough. They did expand but those shades are in the twist up version. The ones I use are the type you have to sharpen. I know those are a pita no matter the brand but I'd rather use a sharpener over a liner I have to constantly reapply. Also, their 6 pan palettes are SO good. So is the only 9 pan palette I have from them. I just used their Taupe palette yesterday for the first time (it's been out for a while now lol). I created a beautiful cool toned eye look. Make sure to use a good primer though. I finally bought one from MAC and it made the process go quickly and the blend was perfection. Don't get me wrong. They're still good if you're using a cheaper eye primer but I do have to admit using MAC's made a difference. Sorry for the novel, lol. I just really enjoy most of what I've tried from them. Hope you're able to get the brand where you're at... 😉
Did they change the undertones in the IT Cosmetics Cc cream original and luminous. Cause medium used to be an ok match for my olive undertones now it’s a lot more peachy. Which unfortunately will stop me from purchasing it every summer. Thank you. Oh Blinc tubing comes of in tubes but it’s a more natural lash. My eyelashes are curled already and I love a more natural lash. So it’s perfect for me. It comes of easily in tubes. I thought it was my eyelashes when I first used it. There is also that Chocolate Dripped tubing mascara by Rudy Berry that I missed out on and so curious about.
Oh man!! You are so lucky. Physicians Formula is actually my favorite drugstore brand. I would die if i had PR. Im still buying their older stuff on ebay. Lol. I wish they would bring back some great stuff. I really love those rare beauty blushes. I only have 1 mini and would love to get more mini colors if they have them. Oooh. Those elf blushes look nice too. I havent seen them in the store.
You can always take the spoolie out of one of your other mascaras to use with the Essence one. I had someone tell me a long time ago that a good spoolie makes even the worst mascaras good!! I’ve kind of found that to be true!! I’ve switched them out many times!!
I've done that before but I had to stop because it became more of a hassle than just sticking with the one mascara I know that has always worked for me. It just happens to be a mascara that many don't understand the hype around (Maybelline Great Lash) but it's the one I've been using since I was able to wear mascara so 🤷♀️ But yes, it's a good tip especially if someone finds a mascara they love but can't stand the wand... 👍
The best foundation I’ve just found is Lancome Teint Idole Stick foundation it’s so creamy it just blends into perfection with your fingers it’s the absolute perfect shade perfect skin like finish it’s seamless it looks just like my skin but way better!!! I LOVE IT!!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
If she EVER took maybe 2 mins to read her comments she would learn that LYS is not Liss. Stands for love yourself.
El-Why-Es
Errytime you say Liss (LYS) it makes my brain go HUH???
😂 I hope that helps anyone else in case they want to look up that brand from her reviews 😊
It stands for “love your self” and is an anagram. Maybe that will help?
Weird since "yourself" is one word😊

What brand do you use? NYX?
Agreed
@@tracie3 L.A. Girl. They sell it at Ulta and on Amazon. 🤟🏻
@@JourneyInBeauty thank you!
You're so pretty, and your personality is just funny! I love all of your videos.
It amazes me that you never respond to people. This is why I unsubscribed
Yet she says “tell me in the comments”. Why?! She never reads them. If she did she’d know how to pronounce LYS by now. About to unsubscribe as well.
@@valeriekingsbury3394 yeeppp I can’t stand when RUclipsrs can’t be bothered to respond to their subscribers
Same heree ughh its so frustrating

Amazing tubing drugstore mascara is sky high from mayballine . That blush from Florence may be good when you catch some sun

Kinda makes me wonder about other Chinese-made products. That's a whole lotta makeup!
Yes surprised and disappointed to see Sheglam products being given airtime . . . Disgraceful
Try the Sheglam bronzer with a brush I use it on my 73 years young cheeks and love it no lifting to the foundation
Unpopular opinion, people who wear so many hydrating face products they look like they are sweating. I'm in my fifties and when I was younger people would be using a special wash for oily skin.
Totally agree!
I love your videos! You are just so fun.
Mascara for baseball season: Calliray Come Hell or High Water!!
Love this! To the point!
Thank you for the time it took to give all this information.❤❤❤❤
The M V102 brush works really good with sheglam bronzer.
