I saw Jamie Lee Curtis at a charity event for disadvantaged children. Behind the scenes, with no cameras around, she was the sweetest celebrity with the kids, spending time talking to them. I've worked with a lot of celebrities and she stands out as one of the most genuinely kind.
I love to hear this because it's exactly how she is in my mind. She seems so genuine and authentic. I love her.
I'd love to sit down with her over drinks and just dish about Hollywood. She seems like fun.

I could honestly listen to a 10 hour interview with her. The enthusiasm and gratitude are palpable. I love it. She’s an icon.

Check out the Actors on Actors with Jamie Lee Curtis and Colin Ferrell. I didn't really like him going into it. He still comes across as a bit of a control freak but Jamie reigned him in from the beginning. It was an interesting conversation to eavesdrop on.
Jamie Lee Curtis is so dedicated to bringing this conversation back to the real and the human. The way it should be.

Michelle Yeoh should win the Oscar for best lead actress. She’s phenomenal in EEAAO. Such a unique and utterly mesmerizing performance. It was a role of a lifetime. Hope she wins on Oscar night! It would be so good if both of them ( Jamie & Michelle) take home the Oscars

Jamie's absolutely right about the subtitles for the rock universe. I heard their voices as I read the subtitles, absolutely brilliant. Stephanie's rock rolling down, Michelle's going after her, made me cry. Such a good movie, I bought it as soon as it came out in my country, we weren't lucky enough to get a theatre release here.

Even though Jamie Lee had two of the most famous people ever as her parents, I genuinely never once doubted her dedication and talent as an actress. Not a single time did I question in my mind if she was a quote-on-quote nepo baby. She's been so consistently good at what she does and this film was no different.

I randomly recently watched EEAAO a second time almost a year after the first watch. And I feel like it was better the second time! There’s nobody in the world that could replace Jamie nor any of the other characters in this movie. If there was ever a perfect movie, it’s this one. Not saying it’s even perfect, but it’s perfect for what it is.
my dad saw her speak at a conference and couldn’t say enough good things about her. said he was super impressed with her all around, but particularly noted that she was a very professional when speaking, but that she was incredibly kind after she was done and just interacting with the people around her.

The fact that the rock scene has no voiceover makes it even louder. that was the perfect decision to go silent with it.
I'm not a native English speaker, and I always switch on the auto subtitle of RUclips video to help me catch up the words in it. But I found Jamie's pronunciation is so perfect that I didn't even realize I didn't switch on the subtitle!

you can tell passion when you see it. I have a mother who loves musical theatre, and she tells me the same things. She loves the getting-together of so many people to create a collaborative artform, and it's got to be the same as the creation of movies.

I love Jaimie acknowledging that some scenes don't need to be expanded upon, because they were perfect. And I 100% agree. The hotdog universe is hilariously wonderful largely because it happens so quicky. Same with the rock scenes, if they had been too much longer they might have started to lose their impact.

Your co-star will probably get the Oscar, but please know that everyone who voted for her was subconsciously voting for you too. Possibly the best film ever made. Possibly the definition of cinema.
