Thank you for these tips! My baby is breech, and although my hospital would allow for an attempt vaginal delivery, they won’t induce. After doing everything I could to try to flip the baby, and to induce labor naturally, my time is running out at 41 weeks and I’m having panic attacks.
I feel that there is a lot of content to prepare people that are afraid of vaginal birth, there is very little for people that are afraid of a C-section.

Hi Renata. I am so sorry you are feeling so much anxiety over this. We have some blogs on breech babies, including birth stories from other women who have had a cesarean for a breech baby which you might find helpful. All the best. Jamie, Team TBTBC xx

Hi @@Emily-tf3mz! In the end, it wasn't as bad. The worse part, honestly, was psychological... I was terrified. The needle for the IVs and the anesthesia before the epidural weren't nice (but I have needle phobia), but that was the worse part. I zoned out with music and it kind of felt that it wasn't with me. After she was born, I could only focus on breastfeeding and trying to feel her, smell her. I didn't even notice what happened. The recovery was ok too. I remember seeing that it takes 3 days to feel 50% better, 7 for 90%, and then you slowly go back to normal. It's funny that you sent that now, because today we are celebrating her 1 month, and she's eating - I think I finally got the hang of breastfeeding. If I could talk to my older self, I'd try to say that it wouldn't be as bad, to try to calm me down, but I don't know if I would have internalized that. What made the difference was a friend reminding me that motherhood is so much more than labor. I still wish I had felt some of it, I still wish I could have been more present and able to enjoy the moment, but I'm happy with what came after. There are plenty of challenges that I can conquer for her, and that can make me feel accomplished. I hope it goes well for you! ❤️‍🩹

@@rebecapombo935 honestly wasn't worth the worry. He ended up coming a day early (impatient child lol) so was classed as an emergency but was amazing. So calm the doctors were singing to the radio and chatting away. Only negatives were I vomited the whole time and hours after and he was in shock so the crash team were involved but I'd have another any day. I'm 5 weeks pp and healing has been a breeze. Good luck xx

@@phantomchick88 so nice to hear this. Mine is in 2 weeks and I am worried about being in pain and panicking during the surgery, but I am working hard so I can stay calm on the day.
