This was the most helpful and understanding video I've found on hyperemesis gravidarum. Thank you.
I did want to point out that liquids are actually much harder to keep down than solids when you're going through HG.

Amazing grass hydration tablets or lemon water help. I can't keep sports drinks down. I went to an ER clinic after 3 weeks of keeping nothing down. Thanks for your advice. I was shocked to find that I was not dehydrated and there were no ketones in urine. Eating even though it won't stay down works!

Oh Martha, I'm so sorry to hear! You really need rehydrating. In your case I'd recommend rehydration drinks (such as sports drinks). You'll also need medication from your doctor to help you stop vomiting.

If you have Hyperemisis Gravidarum there is no diet for you. Although Coke or McDonald’s might help. Don’t know why. But we are all different so there’s no set diet that you can have that will work!

Not Mac in my case but Coke does help if I drink a bit before and after eating something. I heard it stabilized the acids in the stomach or something like that 😅… I end up vomiting anyways but actually later so I guess more nutrients pass trough to my body … I’m week 15 and just desperate!!! I can’t stand more than 5min in a row without feeling I am going to faint is a nightmare!

I hope the advice in the video was able to provide some relief. I can imagine this would be very tiring and uncomfortable. Your doctor will determine HG diagnosis by investigating frequency of vomiting, dehydration, fatigue, weight loss and may also assess your blood pressure.
