I wish we could see more Space Marine chapters, like the Salamanders or the Black Templars

As a Salamanders main I would very much like to see them featured in game or DLC along with the Grey Knights.

Seriously though, even if I just got into Warhammer 40 k's universe, I love underrated chapters like The Salamanders, The Raven Guard, The Blood Angels and The Black Templars

Ultramarines are a super simple chapter that your average non 40k player can easily understand, that’s why they are overused.
If they used Flesh Tearers, people would be confused over whether or not they were playing the “good” guys.
If they played Black Templars, people would confused about how preachy they are.
If they used Salamanders people would be confused about why they all have onyx black skin.
Ultramarines are simple. That’s why I hate them. So boring. lol
They are releasing UltraMarines as part of the prerelease content, I’m extremely excited for this game and dlc
Gears of War and God of War had a baby...and this looks awesome!
I wish for nothing more than a 40k game like this but it allows for you to choose between Loyalist and Traitor and make it like HD2 where you insert as a team onto enemy planets to complete a bunch of random objectives against cultists or guardsmen, or nids for a constant threat to both sides
I would kill for a chance to play as a Chaos Marine. Especially if you can choose your Legion

I think this game is missing sidestepping cancels. It would be cool to be able to side step every attack of enemy if you have enough fast refleks.
Because what I sadly dislike is that this is a horde game mode, where there is too many enemies to not getting damage even if you would have the best refleks, it's just impossible because of game mechanics limits. So in my opinion Side step cancels is a must to make this game a lot better experience and fun to play.
What I mean by cancel, I mean that every reload animation, every shoot animation, every melee swing animation should be cancellable by side stepping.
So you could end up side stepping every enemy attack, but that also could be done with blocking, depending on what you want to achieve.
For example thanks to blocking you could counter attack enemy that have small stun window because he wanted to do on you a fast attack or an jump attack.
You can though it’s in the game I saw it. Watch trailers to see them do it
Learn how to spell the word reflex if you are going to use it multiple times buddy 😂
The tank movement lacks so much weight, and when rams the door is like nothing, not even an slight shake, also sound design is not great, weapons are underwhelming... loved the first game, i have high expectations for this one

Why i they so Big compared to other humans… I know they have a suit on but that doesn’t make them taller… and there head is bigger the other humans…. I they superhumans? I don’t know the story
Buddy some of them can easily measure 10ft, this is standard height.
Also, these are not humans, but heavily augmented, genetically modified humans.

@@danevirke The short lore: These Space Marines are genetically enhanced superhumans. They don't die of old age, have very long memories, are extremely strong and fast, they're on average more intelligent than normal humans too. They were created by The Emperor of Mankind himself as his greatest weapon to unite and defend the Imperium. However, some of them found out the Emperor might not wish for them to 'stick around' long after their task was done, because they upset the natural balance, being *too* strong and potentially becoming a threat to humanity in the long run.
There was a big war between those loyal to their Emperor and his Imperium and those who were not, resulting in exactly that, the traitor legions are extremely dangerous to mankind and often fight for chaos. The loyalists such as this character here, stuck around after the Emperor got rekt and continue to do their duty to their fellow man as one-man regiments. It's why they're so badass, they are superior and could do whatever they wanted, but they are good men, and they fight to protect and serve.

i was looking forward to this but if gamesworkshop is going to fuck around with lore to appease their amazon overlords then they don't need my money.

Explain to me wtf your even talking about. Are you complaining about Models/ActionFigurines? or something else as equally nonsensical? Companies have to make money to stay profitable so they can release products. Assuming you know how capitalism works and your not complaining about that then what exactly are you talking about?
Capitalism is showing over and over again that you dont do this. We call it getting budweisered. They are pissing on their own lore to appease people who don’t buy their games.
so many of the animations and sounds are just lackluster, there is no oomf and weight when Titus takes a fall and lands, there is no crunching of bone and chitlin when the nids get choked and slammed, the graphics are flashy with nice textures but the core of the content seems to be hollow..... even the tank smacking those doors seemed lackluster, even the bell falling - where is the outrageously loud clanging and crashing of the bell? its no where to be heard...
i hope the multiplayer is better than the first though as thats where the real gameplay was, the single player story was cool.
I completely agree, dosnt even have the iconic chainsword ripping. Sounds like a normal sword and it's disappointing. Game looks good but can they stick the landing?
Nah, if any new shooters also have mele combat it needs to be like sleeping dogs
Some how this footage makes me not wanting this game, the old Space Marine feels some how better, not full of bloated displays on screen :(
