    Uneven & Rubbery, Proof is in the Video.
    I was excited to try this, but the results were unacceptable, and the proof is in the video. I believe success depends a lot on your microwave wattage and internal dynamics. I have a very good top rated high wattage microwave (1200W cooking power) which yielded terrible results. The instructions are clearly for a 1200W microwave like mine. But based on experimenting I've done, I theorize that a lower wattage microwave and maybe without a turn table might turn out more even due to slower cooking.
    It always resulted in a ring of overcooked rubbery scrambled eggs with a paper thin or just a hole in the middle where your fillings would go. Closing the clam shell just makes a double stack of these rubbery things with the paper thin center or holes in the middle. It was rather unappealing and looked nothing like the pictures. Waiting for the middle to become set took too long while the outer "ring" bubbled up and overcooked. It didn't smell very good either, and tasted not so good. It was "edible", but my wife refused to taste it from the look & smell. You don't get browning in the microwave (which oddly is shown in one of the pictures in the manual), and without a little butter or oil in the pan, you miss some of the flavor you normally get on the outside of the omelet.
    It really isn't much easier than just making in a pan. You still have to prepare beat & season the eggs and fillings. You are really only saving washing a pan & spatula from the pan cooking phase and instead throwing this in the dishwasher. You still have to wash any pans, boards, and bowls used for the filling and egg prep. I sometimes struggle with using a pan because it cooks fast so you have move quickly because it cooks fast, and folding sometimes doesn't go well. I had hoped this would make it perfectly & easily. But it was far from it, just overcooked it in different ways that was unacceptable. This isn't just a defective item, as it is just plastic.
    I'm really sorry, I tried very hard to make this work. I spent a long time on this. The video is made up of 63 clips to piece together the story, trimmed from 3 times that many recordings.

    Cook it shorter for first pass 45 sec., not fully setting the eggs, pull and gently mix eggs on both sides, then cook the second 45 sec. That way they'll have the appearance of omelette (smooth outside when assembled) instead of the stirred up look that you got.
    Also, try seasonings like popcorn seasoning: the Ranch and the Nacho Cheese each work.

    A little mayonnaise in your eggs helps them rise and have a better consistency

    You cooked it to death, you didn't blend the omlette early on like you were supposed to. You also didn't use any fat. And you did not use enough eggs :/

    You didn't use nearly enough egg, at least 3 is necessary. Also could have tried shutting the lid for the whole time as some of these omelette makers suggest doing that instead.

    you need to add 1 tsp. of coconut oil in the egg mix and they will be fluffy and not tear - a guy does that every day here in my office - his omelets are beautiful - look like from the cafe down the street

      I use the same thing from Weight Watchers so most of us using this product are trying to not use oils.

      An omelette is usually for 1 person. Up to 2-eggs is the recommended serving size of eggs for an adult. It should be able to accommodate a recommended adult diet. If need 3-4 eggs, that starts to be quite a bit much, especially with adding stuff to it. Remember, the same thing works in a pan, just not in this contraption.

      You put to much fillings and need to spray both sides with cooking spray.

    Honestly, this is a very foolish video. You aren't using the omelette maker properly, and if you would simply look online for instructions, you'll see exactly what you're doing wrong. You need 3 eggs, not 2, and after the 1:30 minutes, you need to stir EACH side, to even out each side, and then put the toppings on.

    • @gregory6798
      @gregory6798 5 лет назад

      You did it wrong!! After doing the eggs on both sides, cook for 40 sec then add ingredients. Don't put so much ingredients in it like all the veggies. Cheese and some small bites of meat you like or other things. You have to try different one. Veggies might make it a bit watery. Then cook for 1min30sec.

    Just because this item didn't work for this man doesn't mean it won't work for anyone. I have one and it works fine with 2 or 3 eggs. You're not supposed to cook it for 1:15 the first time in.

    • @MyLife3636
      @MyLife3636 5 лет назад +1

      Then why do the instructions say to do that?
      How long would you recommend?
