Hi Kim 🙂 thank u so much they are good little gadgets especially if u struggle with got pans and the added bonus is there's no mess or washing up lol 😆 ❤❤xx
Or....spray the the inside of a coffee mug with spray light, add pinch of salt and pepper, 3/4 fill with boiling water, crack egg into water, 1 minute in microdiddle(800watt)....ta dahhh....perfect poached egg, runny yoke and doesn't stick... guaranteed 👍
@@natssupermarketproductreviews Can't claim any credit, mate. Saw it on a RUclips cookery channel, and it really does work. Just thought the handle on the mug'd be easier for you to deal with. Might have to play about with the amount of boiling water, 'cos it can boil over a bit, in the micro.
It might help if you boil the water in the kettle first and pour the required amount into the egg container. It would eliminate the finger burning step.
you could always get a Salter egg cooker, does boiled eggs perfectly and exactly how you like it and it has two poaching cups and are also brilliant. It's electric and you can set it to the settings of how you like your eggs. I'm a carer and many of the people have arthritis and as carers cannot use the hob for safety reasons, we suggest this as an option to do eggs. I've used them countless times for the service users and even bought one myself.
I would recommend a quick spray of light olive oil in the cups before adding boiling water from kettle..... definitely makes getting them out easier. Also, pricking the yolk with a sharp knife point seems to make it easier keeping yolk soft.
Yes I think half filling them with boiling water from the kettle would be easier. A few adjustments with the cooking time and I think it's a good product but I'd like to think the egg doesn't stick every time

I microwave my omlette, 2 eggs, milk, salt and pepper mix, add cheese put mixing bowl in microwave with some microwave lid, 3 mins. Eat out bowl. Just one washing up. Also can add extra ingredients just add minute.
Tip for a hard yolk: Mash butter into the yolk it’ll help to make it a little runnier. Dad always put butter into a boiled egg when I was little, if the yolk was hard. I have a plastic (well a few) bowls with handles specifically for microwave use. I do soup, beans, scrambled and poached eggs in them, so a variety of uses. When poaching eggs I mostly just place the plastic lid that came with each dish loosely on the the top and just off to the side a little (so there’s a place for steam to escape). I do poached eggs for 2 mins cos my partner will only eat them with hard yolks (he’s weird). Brilliant review, instructions followed exactly as on the package, as it should be done. Very interesting, thank you ❤

Hi nat another great review. Yes it looks good but as you said it needs to be easier to get the lids off. It is a shame that they stuck on the bottom. But anyway another good review.
Spray or wipe a bit of butter round the poacher, place in microwave. Use a beaker or small jug and hot kettle water to save all the fiddly lid and carrying around thing. I find my micro is fine on 30 seconds and then let the eggs just stand to continue cooking for about another 30..Trial and error for the first few times.. Thank you, I always struggle with my fingers on fiddly stuff like this. xx

@@natssupermarketproductreviews I hope you don't find this patronising (as it's not intentional at all) but I can give you one tip, as my mum does this due to her bad arthritis - try froaching - start by cracking the egg into a light, preheated non stick saucepan that you've sprayed with a small amount of oil, let the eggs sizzle for a few seconds until the edges of the white just start to set, and then slowly pour in just enough water to give the eggs a bit of a 'paddle'. Don't leave the eggs standing in the hot water while you put the toast on. Obviously that will overcook them. Put them in the MW for 45 seconds straight away or else reduce the cooking time.
Not a bad product, need a few attempts varying cooking time to get the perfect eggs ……and like you said Nat,needs a better and safer means to remove the lid……good review though 👌🏼
Hi adventure it's not a bad little gadget just needs a better tab to take the lid of an get the timings right u would have quick convenient poached eggs with no mess an thank u very much 😊

An easier way is to spray or smear oil into the cups of the microwave poacher. Then place eggs in the cups. Place poacher in the microwave, Then take four pieces of kitchen towel and folded together and then fold in half. Soak the towel with cold water and place over the top of the poacher. Microwave (my microwave oven is 800 watts so you may need more or less time for other microwaves ovens) for 2 minutes for a runny egg, two minutes, thirty seconds for a firmer egg. Be careful removing the kitchen towel - it will be hot. Due to the oil, the eggs will slide out easily.
Hello when I do my product reviews I always follow the instructions as it says the first time an if I revist the product then I can add oil etc I have to make the reviews fair by following the instructions But thank u for the tip

I just grabbed the nearest thing I had to me
I love patched egg so I'll try it if I can find it 🙌
Hi Roy I hope u manage to find one 😊
Don't leave the eggs standing in the hot water while you put the toast on. Obviously that will overcook them. Put them in the MW for 45 seconds straight away or else reduce the cooking time.
Would have been a help to you Nat if it had worked properly with a better lid.
Hi janey yes the lid needs to be a lot better with a bigger tab or a ring pull
Not a bad product, need a few attempts varying cooking time to get the perfect eggs ……and like you said Nat,needs a better and safer means to remove the lid……good review though 👌🏼
Hi adventure it's not a bad little gadget just needs a better tab to take the lid of an get the timings right u would have quick convenient poached eggs with no mess an thank u very much 😊
Hi nat look a bit dangerous to me that scolding hot water i was actually lucking at them last week but after seeing your video there going get a wide birth great review you got a lovely assistant there 😅
Hi big Steve they are a bit fiddly I was worried about the hot water cause im so clumsy 😅 lol I don't blame u it's what ur comfortable using I wouldnt rush out an get one there good but not the most brilliant of things
U like my assistant 😂😂 lol thanks for watching an commenting 😊
Hello when I do my product reviews I always follow the instructions as it says the first time an if I revist the product then I can add oil etc I have to make the reviews fair by following the instructions
But thank u for the tip
I just put the eggs in there with no water👌
Hi fact I just went by what the instructions said I could try that way to
Would they not explode then ?
Easier to use an egg poacher pan. I have mine since the 1970's. Amazon have them.
Hi my channel is about reviewing products I have a egg pocher pan an they are good

@@natssupermarketproductreviews You did good, girl✌️👏👍!
I'd a similar thing for doing 'poached' eggs in the microwave years ago, only had to put some butter in the dish. Wasn't brilliant, but it did the job - quick, easy way to cook eggs!
Hi siobhan yes I remember them years ago my mum came home from a tupperware party and had brought one lol its just more for convenience these days no pans no mess
This gadget is the worst way to poach a egg also looks dangerous
Hi tablet I'm just a review channel 😊 everyone is intitled to there own opinion and not everyone is going to always like the product I'm reviewing 😊
Eggs not soft boiled for me- less time for final - maybe 35 sec!
Not bad, slightly overdone , be good to see you do it again but for a shorter time.....? Possibly start the water and egg together from cold?
Hi Joe that's a good idea I would have to have a mess around with timings as well
Hi good afternoon just got home from doctors and go 3 more appointments 🙄 never mind enjoy the rest of the week
Hi adrain oh no bless u I hope ur alright an that u get sorted with the doctors really soon it does matter bless keith an me send u both our love

Hi Martin hahaha 😂😂 there more for convenience for ppl
@@natssupermarketproductreviews see when u eat a real poached egg…you realise these aren’t poached eggs..i tried it in work..I done it once..never again..👍
Yumm
No thanks, I'll stick to my tried and tested saucepan method.
Hi Norma I was reviewing it as a disabled person I can't use pans on the cooker
@@natssupermarketproductreviews Nat apologies, this is the first time I've see your posts. it's not safe and as an abled person would not use it. What about coddled egg?
Norma u don't need to apologise its OK u don't know unless u ask 🙂 I havent heard of a coddled egg but I have just had a look I might try that thank u
@@natssupermarketproductreviews there are special little containers to make it on, but even an ordinary cup will do. I hope you give it a bash. 🤗
Disabled, arthritic, using a knife with a container of boiling water trying to prise a lid off, what could possibly go wrong 🤦♀️
Brain well how else am I meant to open it the tab was to small to pull it off
@@natssupermarketproductreviewsMate, you really do seem to attract the bellends, balloons and helmets don'cha? My advice? Ignore them.
Awwww bless you NAT trial and error sweetheart but could you and kieth please stop using sharp metal knifes you will scrape and pierce the product making it unusable thnx NAT love n hugs❤
Hi kirste it's all trial an error with some of these products I always grab what's handy to me sometimes it might not be the right thing to open stuff with
"A little bit hard". Tell your dad to do his own eggs next time
David he's not my dad we have been together 19 years and have 2 boys an I'm 45
Should not assume, just leave a comment on the product!!
You're clearly new here. Welcome on board Nat & Keith are a great advert for a man & woman relationship 👍
@@natssupermarketproductreviews well you don't look 45 , I had you down as 30s good video I might try one , but you can do them in air fryer fairly quick as well ment to come out good by what I've seen . 👍
