    "I get so emotional baby"!!!! I have never had tears in my eyes after watching you perform for so many years as well as marching as snare in 1977 and 78. I had tears of joy today! This is a "SPARTANS" I have never seen before. That was over the top!! You know what you have to do now year to year to keep this momentum.

    Okay everyone I decided I really wanted to see if Spartans were “parking and barking” as they’re being accused by lots of people for it. So I took a stopwatch and ran their show compared to Legends’ show. I chose legends because they came in second and, in my opinion, deserved to win Open Class 2019. So, Spartans hornline stood still and played for a grand total of 1:45, not including solos. Compared to that, Legends stood still and played for a grand total of 0:50. Obviously these are rough numbers because human error, but in conclusion: it may be unfair to say that Spartans parked and barked their whole show, but they did stand still for a vast majority of their playing, including nearly half of the ballad.

      @Steve Pfaff How exactly did Legends deserve to win? I fail to see your logic behind your reasoning, considering I marched at Spartans this year, and during the season I got to talk with some members from Legends after show; all of which said (or at least mentioned) that the "Park and Bark" was one of the best parts of the show. I think there's a better logical argument about stuff like this.

      tstanton_ _ I’m sorry but it’s just my opinion that Legends looked and sounded better than Spartans. I’m not going to try to change your mind because that won’t be possible and I don’t want this come off as the Spartans show was bad, because it wasn’t, it has some really epic moments and I know you and everyone else worked really hard on that show. It’s just my personal opinion on the matter

      Echo Gold “parked and barked” for about 2:08, give or take a couple. Honestly it’s surprising nobody talks about this more lol

      Ight sucks to suck, they still came out undefeated.

      Sure, there may have been mistakes, but you learn from them and come out better. And they still had an amazing season. I do feel bad for the colorguard, looked like a windy day and hard to control the flags in that. Ask them about their Hook season, 1992....yeah...carrying a 'sail' in 40mph winds....it happens!

    Very cool hs band, although the only thing the guy can play is double g's for 2 beats lol over and over

    • @tannergrandclair75
      @tannergrandclair75 5 лет назад +19

      We are a DCI Drum Corps not a HS band. And our soloist can definetly do more than double Gs for two beats...
