I love that they could only provide responses 2 of the 5 in this category! Identifying the director of the original Nosferatu was a good question.

My mind went blank on Underworld, dang it. Nice, backdoor product placement advertising Nosferatu👍

I was so confused by Nosferatu being the most points for that category.....right up until they asked who directed it, lol. Good fakeout.

The director of Nosferatu was the only question I knew the answer to...

On that last one, the contestants were probably thinking "Nosferatu! Nosferatu!" And then the title "Nosferatu" was uttered in the clue itself and they were like "****! ****!"
This wound up being a particularly challenging category. But in everyone's defense, there's just SO much vampire stuff out there by now. I'd say the same is true of ghosts, but ghosts have fewer "rules" than vampires so there's a lot more variety in how stuff comes together. With vampires, you usually have an aversion to sunlight, fangs at least part-time, and of course drinking blood. Ghosts don't have so many constraints, so there's a lot more differentiation between ghost movies. Do they fly? Who can see them? Can they leave the place where they died? It varies.
Vampire movies are like the Spider-Man franchise. There's not total agreement in the whats and the hows, but there's a lot they do agree on. Whereas ghost movies are like the broad category of "movies about superheroes that can fly". A hundred years from now, people will still know the difference between Goku and Superman, but will they know whether Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland battled Alfred Molina? I hope not, because of course it was Tobey Maguire. That's fleeting knowledge though, you know?

Interestingly, Daniel Craig just signed on to do a biopic on that Nosferatu Director. Uncanny.

Struck out on this category 0/5. I like to think I'm well versed in film too! Guess there's a genre I tend to steer clear of

Maybe I'm old fashioned (Okay, I know I am), but I am disappointed to hear use of a profanity on Jeopardy. I have never hesitated to watch this show with my children. I guess that's going to change now.

They used the word "boob" a few weeks ago. The main difference is that Ken himself read the first clue.
