WTE: What to Expect After Hip Replacement Surgery

Sometimes it’s avoidable, other times it’s inevitable, going through the Total Hip Arthroplasty, or Hip Replacement Surgery. When prepping for any surgery, a crucial aspect we often overlook is what is to be expected after the surgery.
If we can arm ourselves with the knowledge on what will happen after surgery, if we can gain a good understanding of the recovery and rehab process, we can get ourselves physically and mentally prepared for what’s in store. This is one of the most important parts of ensuring good surgery outcomes.
With the hip replacement, a common misconception is that once the surgery is completed, everything is corrected and fine. There is still a road to get to that destination. This video explores what’s found on that road.
