Awesome video. Thank you ❤
Very short and simple after I ended up straying the cars of all neighbors 😂😂😂. I owed them. A wash of course . May ALLAH bless you
Bless this man’s entire family. I didn’t have to watch a 20 minute video for this simple explanation.
😂😂😂😂
too bad he got it completely wrong
@@waynegranzin3824 worked for me.
I replaced two old rainbird T40 heads with new 32SA heads. So much easier to adjust with your instructions. Thank you… sir…
Thank you so much. You saved a widow cost for hiring someone to do this! Brief and to the point. I subscribed👌👌
Thanks for the sub!
For some reason I could not figure out how to get my 32SAs adjusted properly from the rain bird video. I was able to easily get them setup after watching yours. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you making this explanation.
I second the below comment. That was as easy as anyone on the entire internet has ever made following directions about anything! Thanks again!
Thank you very much...funny how the last few seconds of your video was the main part I was looking for. RUclips is always annoying when they put advertisements on top of the video before the last three seconds to allow people to see the entire video without something floating next video screen popping up in the way
On the app, when those annoying overlays start, grab the top of the video screen and drag down a tiny bit and hold it. The overlays go away...
Pick a spot up in the corner, so your hand isn't in the way either...
It's a stupid way to do it, but we are dealing with screwtube, so it's not surprising...
Simplest explanation ever. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
THANK YOU... Someone who can speak and explain how to adjust the angle!
Thanks for posting this video. I have been fighting for a long time to get my RainBird rotating sprinklers to work correctly!
Thank you. So much better than the actual instructions that came with the thing. 😊
Extremely concise and helpful. Well done sir.
Thanks for taking 1 minute to show what it takes!!! Great vid!!!!
Thank you :)
No....no.....no.....it was 2:42.
Simple and right to the point. Thank you.
🤣😂🤣
Thank you planning simple And to the point😅😊
Best video! Follow his advice
thank you. just bought this type of sprinkler for the first time. the instructions on the sprinkler itself were very unclear haha
Thanks for watching
Simple yet very well explained. Best video I’ve seen on how to adjust the heads. Great job.
Thank you. It's comments like this that keep me going :)
Short and to the point. Good vid!
Thank you!
Great video thanks
This is actually a really good and straight forward explanation. Thanks!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
Very good concise explanation. Thanks
your directions were playing and simple And to the Point thank you very much As Denzel Washington said in training day My Nigga
Simple 💪🏽 thanks!
Thank you
Very good explanation! Thank you!
You are welcome
Thanks for the easy explain
Great video and to the point. Thanks for sharing!
well done
Great video!
How do you get the left side to line up with where I want it to start if when I screw it in the ground it doesn’t line up where I want it to start? You say turn it so the left side lines up? So I only screw it part of the way on so it lines up?
Thank you!
Glad I could help
Thank you sir!
Absolutely excellent.
Thanks for the nice words
This is a great video. Easy to follow. Thanks!
My pleasure. Thank you for watching
Thanks

Ty. Best directions.
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
nice, Thank you
Excellent. Just what I needed.
So you have to have two different screwdrivers to make adjustments? One flat head and one phillips?
Thank you! Very clear.
I add a white paint pen mark on my left stop. Lets me know my starting point when installing in the ground.
That's a great tip. Thank you :)
Yes, great explanation for rotation and spray distance. But, my spray "stream" is pencil thin and shoots over all the area 0-12 feet. Is there an adjustment for spray "dispersion"?? The other slotted window??
The slot is only used for a special key-like tool that you use to pull up the head while the sprinkler is in the ground. I am thinking you might have a dirty nozzle...
@@NeverStopDIY Thanks for taking the time to respond and explaining that slot. I am thinking that what they sent me was one of the new restricted flow heads which are required now in CA, CO, and WA. I have another identical head (same exact model number) in a different spot I bought 2 years ago with a totally different dispersion pattern.
@@richsemenik8654 Wow, I am glad you figured it out. Thanks for watching ;)
Great video. Very easy to follow.
Thank you
Great video but my problem is that I installed a new Rainbird 32sa today because my 3500 Pro Rator was leaking out the top it is less than a year old the new 32sa is also leaking water out the top at the adjustment screws Help what could be going on???
Operator error.
Was able to shut off about 4-5 sprinklers on two stations with this rain bird sprinkler
Better coverage and save on water bill👍
Yes, they do indeed cover a bigger area. You just have to set it up correctly.
I am always so frustrated by these sprinklers and trying to adjust them. Today, for the second time I've installed a new sprinkler 32sa but I end up getting wet and the sprinkler hits my windows and it's the most frustrating job ever!! I hate these!!! I'm going to hire someone to set if for me.
If I wasn't confused before... I am now!
The key is to position the sprinkler head correctly when you are first installing it. As you are screwing down the sprinkler head, onto your irrigation line, make sure the arrow on top ends up on your desired left point of the sprinkler coverage. That means the sprinkler head will stop turning left at that point. After you position the arrow at the left end point of the coverage, turn the flat head screw on top to adjust the right end point of the coverage.
@@NeverStopDIY Won't you be either loosening or tightening the top of the sprinkler head when you install it to point to the left?
@@barbarawest584 you will, but that's the way it was designed
@@barbarawest584 That question doesn't really make sense to me Barbara, since you are not starting from a working sprinkler head and then turning it to adjust it, which, yes, would either be loosening or tightening the sprinkler body on the threaded water inlet on the bottom of it. And it's not really "the top of the sprinkler head," it's "the body." Your question doesn't make sense in light of the fact that this tip is "for the initial installation." Rephrasing your question in my own words, and in light of the "initial installation," might clarify what you want to know: "If you position the desired leftmost point of the water pattern as you are initially installing the sprinkler head and screwing it down, aren't the odds great that your desired rotation will either be too loose, and thus leak, or too tight, and thus crack the body?"
When you twist the rotor to get the desired left position, won't you overtighten it at the bottom? That's what I don't get. And if I turn left, it'll just loosen it so I might have a leak no?
This is EXACTLY what's confusing me too. Need to replace/fix a few 32SA heads in my yard this season.
@@ravi4846 so I found that there are two ways.
1. Easiest way - just take the sprinkler head and turn it to your desired left position. You'll hear it clicking. Just don't over turn it or you'll have to reset, since you can't easily adjust it. You'll then have to re-adjust the right position.
2. There's the middle ring on the rotor. Just turn it left to loosen the sprinkler head. Take it out, put it back in to your desired left position and tighten it. Just take a note of your left position. I find this way a bit annoying because the sprinkler head turns a bit as you tighten it. But this way will also enable you to reset the position if in method #1 you overturned it.
No not at all. It will only loosen if you twist the body of the unit. Turning just the rotor as shown in the video will not loose the unit.
Salute 🫡 my friend. You told me all I need to know in less than 3 min.
Much easier than Hunter
I agreee
I broke mine because I got mad to this stupid shit. Now I know how it works.
To adjust the water flow rate, you have to have the water on??
No you don't, but it makes less trial and error to get exactly what you need since you can see the effects of your adjustment as you make it. Otherwise I hope you like hiking back to the controller in the garage 25 times. Maybe use an electric bike.
@@TheLarryBrown Hey LarryBrown, you are correct. It is not required to have the sprinkler running during the adjustment. Having the sprinkler running during adjustment is the most wise and effective process to make the adjustment while visually verifying your goal. Analogy, throw a dart at the bullseye with a blindfold over your eyes (no water running) Vs. remove the blindfold (water running) and give it a try.
My have these and my second newest addition will not pop all the way Up. I have to walk over and pull it for it to pop fully open. I been trying to get it to loosen up but it will not open fully on its own. My first Rain bird had this problem but fixed itself after the 4-5 time. Wth man, I just put down some grass seeds yesterday and it’s frustrating that this is happening.
I have my hose on a timer and they come on one one after the other turns off so I dont lose water pressure. I do have the heads on 100 foot hose but like I mentioned, my first rain bird doesn’t have this problem with the same exact setup.
Any tips???
Hello. Thanks for watching the channel. I think your water pressure is too low or there is not enough water flow to make your sprinkler head "pop." It could also be like you said, that the supply hose is too long or you may have too many sprinkler-heads on that line. A bigger diameter hose, a shorter hose, or separating your sprinklers in different zones might solve this problem.
@@NeverStopDIY I literally have the same exact water hose with the same Rainbird head on another zone. Same 100 footer. Works fine. I bought the second same setup but have this problem. I have a timer with 4 different zones.
I tried all evening and just got my backyard super wet in the trouble area. I think I will just go to Home Depot and buy an orbit head like my front yard. Then I don’t have to worry about it having to pop up and down.
Very weird and frustrating situation given I have the same exact setup working fine on zone 2!
@@tite732 That does sound frustrating. Can you let us know if you end up fixing it? I would really like to know why this is happening.
The problem...the water runs out by the adjustment screw
Mine the same thing. I think they're bad
Wait wait wait
“Depending on your pressure” ?????
Yes. The water pressure in your pipes.
this is this is this is...
... a great comment :)

You give to little info
God! Gosh! Oh my god. Returning my set to amazon now . Worst product and worst sound in RUclips ever
Very poor video - question: can you make adjustment BEFORE you screw it into the water source?
If you were paying attention to the video, you would have seen that he WAS making the adjustments to the sprinkler while NOT attached to the water source
Painful to watch
Write a script first bfr making video
Thanks
No problem
thank you
