- Day four updates to the build, we switched off Toxic Rain to Scourge Arrow manaforged. Dying sun acquired and rage acquired!

Thanks, enjoying the build so far and these update videos are super helpful. I did have to start using asenaths though, clear just feels a little limp without the gloves
Scourge arrow requires more investment (chance to poison, proj speed) and on top of that has quite a bit less single target dps, but god damn does it feel just sooooo much better than the caustic arrow. Realisticly for anyone who's not pinnacle bossing I'd recommend runing scourge arrow way more.
Now I'm just wondering how to go around dropping mana cost implicit from the helmet so I can run blizzard crown for even more damage.
6l for storm rain and caustic arrow? i cant see on current pob cause you change 1 gem for mirage archer
what you think of petrified blood and maybe a bloodnotch?
can we not use Scourge Arrow as our main clearing ability? if so what would be the best gem setup for it, i really like the new SA
Swap greater volley with GMP, and CA with SA. Easy swap
why my SA is acitve skill? the same gems like storm rain but its active and dont see linked manaforged and nova. How to fix it? It must be only SA Menace to work? Normal cant?
Normal SA is channeling skill, so only the new one works.
1 question is not better tornado shot then caustic arrow? it has twise base damage ,shotgun like caustic... and have better clear..
I tested TS and it seems worse than CA, at least with AOE scaling.
I've never had a better leaguestart in my entire 10+ years of playing Path of Exile. It's such an addicting feeling being able to do all of the content, having amazing dps, being incredibly tanky, AND destroying bosses in no time. Thank you for the build, Palsteron.

What would be the best way to start this build? Would it be start with original pob till maps then switch to day 4 pob?
You mention dropping topaz as an option in softcore to add a quicksilver, but wouldn't it be better to drop the taste of hate instead and keep the topaz since a larger amount of physical damage is converted to lightning?
Taste itself also converts a lot of the physical damage, mitigating the lightning damage you take from lightning coil is far less important.
Makes sense since flask effectiveness scales how much taste converts dramatically. Thanks for the reply!
It looks like he dropped the frenzy mana forged set-up in the PoB for scourge arrow, how is he generating frenzy charges?
it's on his head sockets, it doesn't show on pob since he's using an transfigured version of frenzy
So if we dont have a poisen chance bow. Do we need to run the poisen support gem in the SA link?? . Or if 70% poisen chance good enough?
All damage with hits can poison tincture
You'll need to make it up elsewhere, one way is the gem. There is other ways though (glove implicit, 5% from jewels, HOAG, anoint, elder quiver)
@@werephantomsin15tincture doesn't give poison chance. You still need 100% chance to poison.
Goratha, I’m constantly dying to one shots while trying to finish the acts in hardcore, do you have any tips on how to stay alive and what defenses should I focus to get? Could you make an video about it? Thanks, tried the build and it’s very fun!
cap your resistances, try to grab LGOH (excess susentance is great on the tree), and run barkskin + grace/determination early on
Can you explain for a newbie like me, why is topaz flask so important?
Synergy with lightning coil chest
If you're running lightning coil as your chest, it helps reduce the damage you're taking since it's converting 50%? Of the phys damage you take to lightning, and the topaz flask reduces lightning damage you take.
How work lighting coil plz i dont understand
Lightning Coil makes 50% of physical damage you take to be converted to lightning damage, so with low or no armour you get the benefit of 75% lightning resistance for half the physical damage, making you tank higher physical hits and not getting one shot.
What are sone cheqp annointa to improve dmg ? Soft core by the way
toxic strikes or corruption are probably the best options for that

tgems are frenzy of onslaught, scourge arrow of menace, caustic arrow of poison, and storm rain of conduit

It's in the helmet, POB just isnt updated so it didn't import correctly since I'm using the tgem for it.
can this be made to work some way without the tincture if you dont want to give the slot?
If you want less than half of the damage, sure. Only way to have your poisons scaled by all forms of flat damage is to use that tincture. If you weren’t bow, there is a heist dagger that allows other damage types to poison, but that limits you to LS or other striking skills.
@@WarrenPuffet oh ok i missed the point of it then. I thought the tincture allowed the skill to poison and that % chance to poison didnt work or something. the flat damage part wasnt computing i guess lmao
@@mechanics____1410the tincture makes physical and elemental damage to increase poison damage I think, hugely increasing your dps if you have a high elemental dps bow
Lifetap is destroying me, any ideas what could be going wrong?
You'll need master surgeon or excess sustenance nodes for lgoh. But yes, the lifetap costs go up as you get more gem links.
hm..hello Goratha can you make a video about how to craft the bow for the build ?
It's mostly just ROG or Essence spamming (wrath, hatred, anger for prefixes, and then you can do prefix can't be changed Aisling craft, or something similar depending on the bow)
Why do we use manaforged arrow on SA and Flame dash it dosen't work on them anyway. It is still manual trigger
Flame Dash is just linked because it's lifetap - no trigger, you wouldn't want to anyways. For the SA you need the tgem for it to work "of the menace"

For bossing, definitely. You don’t need grace for bossing in most cases. Depends on your setup though
does the build get phasing and onslaught?
You can get onslaught thru frenzy of onslaught. Phasing will have to be from somewhere else like tincture
Get tincture with rage on hit and onslaught on kill.
Phasing can come from abyss jewel, though it is a small chance.
phasing on kill abyss jewel is enough for mapping
also you can try making boots with onslaught on kill prefix

ZDPS, and I checked i have more damage on my gear than you do. clearly we aren't playing the same game.
This is a poison build, if you don’t have 100% poison chance, that’s why. If you don’t have the tincture that’s another reason. You do damage by stacking poisons, your flat damage isn’t your damage, I doubt you understand how to use PoB.
@@WarrenPuffet you could try asking questions, instead of making assumptions.
First off, I do have the tincture. And its applied. Its a poison build that uses elemental damage as a base. So when I say "i have more damage" it was in response to the him saying lack of wed and damage with bow skills etc on gear is the most common issue he finds.
I've been playing this game for years. Using POB also for years. I have a vast wealth of experience from which to draw the conclusion that this build is short on damage as is.
I also have well over 100 chaos dot multi. Damage with poision, flat and % ele dam on gear, damage with attack skills etc etc. nice try tho, troll.
Obviously, there's something wrong with your setup, or you have different expectations, for the given investment. but poison pf can reach dot cap without extreme investment, and can also reach uber dot cap on high end gear. while also being tanky.
my current character is doing 10-15m dps, with a ton of room for improvement, you can check the latest vod, something must be wrong if you are doing zdps
