- We had a bunch of successful Fallout 4 Survival perma-death streams so here's a highlight of our modded attempts to get through the game untouched. it took us a few deaths but we managed to get a run going.

Hi. My name is ItsJabo and I speedrun games daily over at Twitch. The whole purpose of a speedrun is to playthrough a game as fast as you can, with a set of prerequisite rules. I enjoy speedrunning a variety of games and look to challenge myself in a huge amount of ways. Realism mod: take half your health in damage from a bullet
Also realism mod: dog that takes 40 bullets
New Vegas, _Critical Damage Overhaul_ is far better.

A _single_ .45 ACP round coming from a rifle will literally explode an unarmored human head into flesh goo. A dog would certainly die well before tanking 40 bullets.

Any one else think that the first start at 1:09 with the castle is really cool like your a minuteman that woke up after being knocked unconscious during the mirelirks assualt on the castle and now have to start again after finding out the minuteman have fallen

Hardest mod. Realistic firearms, get 1 tapped by a raider with a glock a half mile away
I always pair that mod when I use it with "Realistic bullet travel"
Well hey, that young man at Greenwood Park Mall, goes by the last name of Dickens I think. He was there with his gf and has his Glock legally concealed, shooter leaves a bathroom having re-assembled his disassembled AR, and gets active. He spots the shooter, takes aim, and from I think it was 40yd (36m or so) he fired 9 or 10 shots, with I think only 1 or 2 misses which is OUTSTANDING ACCURACY for a handgun at that range. The police were commending him, confirmed that he had no Police or Military training but that he conducted himself very professionally.
So yeah, real-world scenario, greater distance than people might usually think a handgun can defeat a rifle but under certain circumstances with all involved probably not wearing any armor, yup a Glock can defeat an AR. Those hits he managed, 8 or 9 of them I'm pretty sure, they killed the shooter. The shooter had LOTS of ammo but didn't even finish a single magazine, I think it was 3 shot, maybe 4 including the shooter, with 2 deaths or something like that. I think he sadly managed to kill 1 person, or maybe 2, but it could have been SO MUCH WORSE if not for dickens and his absolute professionalism. America needs more young men like him, he was like 20-21 and he's already a hero. If his gf has any sense to her, she'll latch onto him with her ovaries and never let go. Elijsha Dickens or something like that, really funny-spelled first name, but DAMN it would be my honor to buy him a beer.
Oh also, Glock is non-vanilla, it's a mod weapon, and yeah by the looks of it in the video it probably uses very common ammo but has a high damage output much like the MP40 I find in the mole rat den under Red Rocket. Granted, thankfully, enemies can't seem to spawn with it, but yeah I don't even have the weapon output modified but past level 70 using just .38 ammo in it, I'm still using it. It's not ideal but it does plenty decent damage, like 25 or something like that? 32 round capacity, decent rate of fire, plentiful and lightweight ammo, I mean it might even be better than a fully-modified pipe rifle in .45 and THAT rifle I used VERY heavily in my vanilla playthrough. Basically right through to the end of the game. Common ammo, decent weight, 48 round capacity, decent rate of fire, good range with very low weight at like... what... 7.5? Sure a combat rifle would be better especially in .308 but I don't believe it would be all that much better by that much and would cost me around 2-3x as much weight. I also stuck with a pipe bolt-action in .308 for much of the game even though the rate of fire SUCKS and the hunting rifle would be better, but again, how much better? Not much. But how much heavier? Well .50 would be quite a bit better but the ammo is much heavier and it would probably weigh about 3x as much as the pipe bolt-action, which by late-game I probably found a good legendary one.
That's actually why I uninstalled my mod that included the AR. Modified versions can be VERY OP and while in power armor fighting a Gunner I'm pretty sure it was, it was like ONE burst and I'm pretty sure I had at least half my health, probably more. Died in just ONE burst at close range, it sucked and was just broken plus it didn't tend to work too well in power armor. And I'm all power armor all the time, baby. May as well join the Atom Cats.
@Norman McCollum when I had it. Guns where overly realistic, no helmet. U get 1 tapped from anything. And 1 tap anything. Only power armor would stop it. Only issues was some enemies like gunners didn't get their perception changed in mod. So they will see u legit about a half mile out n 1 shot u with a pistol....which 30 to 40 yards, nice shooting. But 300 to 400 within half a second of seeing the target. Is absurd lmao

Oh damn I like that random start mod it seems great for roleplaying! Starts you with stuff like Minuteman/Gunner/Synth and so on gear in appropriate locations. That looks great fun for roleplay heavy runs

Weird enough I've been on the internet and youtube since forever, so it's hard to find stuff funny to the point of crying.

The pew pew lasers is one of my favorite mods still to this day, that and, ooh piece of candy for when you pick up chems, replacing the suicider beeping with a *cough* "funny" phrase, and replacing all of dogmeats barks with swear words are my favorite mods

That's the problem with mods that add weapons to the npc levelled lists, they tend to show up everywhere.
I had a Mosin Nagant mod installed, wanted it for some cool sniping, and like half the npcs in the commonwealth had it, when I raided the Gunners base, 9/10 of them had one.
I really wish more weapon mod makers would simply add a single unique rifle to the game, or maybe make it available in some stores, but not make them appear in the regular levelled lists.

funnily enough i have the exact opposite opinion. generally i want weapon mods to add depth and immersion so not having them in leveled lists ruins that for me

Don't mention the world cup. The best country ('straya) got knocked out in the QF's so I must cry. But nah, was a fucking miracle we got that far.
I did a rolling pin run and honestly not that bad. The bleeding mod stacks and I ended up finding a freezing one that could basically stun lock tougher enemies. It wasn't a challenge run or anything just a real early playthrough but pretty fun.
I love Nuka World.
I'll usually start it around level 15 just for a challenge, and by the time you leave you have the Splattercannon and are level 30.
