I would have struggled with removing that driftwood arch. It looked great by itself. However, removing it took the tank from yet another nicely escaped tank to something really special 😍👍 that hyper natural mixture of plants is stunning. Thank you 🙏 I think I learned a big lesson here.
Normally, I'm no big fan of black backgrounds (loved the orange-one, by the way!). But in this tank, it looks great! Never seen so much crypt-species in one tank, even never heard of some of them. They look fantastic and the Danios stand out in that layout and, luckily, have enough space to swim actively. This is an absolutely wonderful tank, congratulations ❤
Sat right next to this tank the day it was set up! 😁 comfy chair, cool tank and fish, and good conversation with some cranberry juice on a warm day! 😂 Looks beautiful mate.
You’ve outdone yourself here mate, stunning aquarium and a great selection of species both plant and fish! Congratulations on hitting 17k subs too, fully deserved!
Beautiful setup Tai! I always like experimenting and finding second hand aquariums to restore as well, when you get a finished product like this it's more rewarding 🙂
Wow didn’t know hard water can actually etch the calcium into the glass. Did you try to polish it out with something like car polish compound? Maybe hit it with some strong citric acid or something before hand?
orbital sander and some 8000 grit sandpaper or some cerium oxide will take those marks out. Cheap to do if you already have the sander. £30 if you don't
Very lovely green layout. Definitely one of my favorites that you've created :)
Thanks Ryo, that's very high praise coming from you and I really appreciate it! 😄
Such a great tank! Well done mate ❤
Thanks buddy, learned a lot from you and have used that to develop the scape!

One of the most beautiful full of plant tank mate
Ah thank you very much!
the texture and slight color differences make every plant species really pop, beautiful, love the shadow in the back
Thank you very much, I really think the uniform t5 lighting is great for letting each plant show off it's features :D

Subbed partly as a thanks for taking the time to create that plant list.
Thank you Sue! It took some time indeed, but it wouldn't be fair on the viewers if I didn't include one! ☺
Great looking tank. The Balansae look fantastic. What is the crypt with the pale leaves and veining ?
Thank you! That one is C. purpurea, but there is also C. cordata var. siamensis in there which can have a slightly similar vein effect :)
sehr, sehr schön geworden... 😉👍👍👍
Danke!!
Ian probably wants the tank back now 😂 Very nice outcome Tai, BRAVO!
Hahah well he can't have it! Thank you :D

This is the true example of scaping without hardscaping 😂❤
Anyway the flowing jungle looks so amazing 👏🏻 😍
Thank you very much, I'm pleased the scape achieved the effect I was hoping for!
@@biotopia5319 never that thought java ferns can be put on that ground level 👌 😍
It really opened my mind
So thanks
Couldn't find Devario devario? ;-) But serious... splendid scape, splendid choice of fish!
Here we only have D. malabaricus and I was worried they would be too big and active really, thank you!
Awesome!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you!

Beautiful!!!
Did you try 0000 grade steel wool for the water stains? It won't scratch the glass.
I didn't, but that's good advice and something to think of for next time...thank you!
❤
beautiful tank, what fertilizer do you use and when, thanks
Hi there, thanks! I am adding Tropica specialised 3 pumps per day, but also use Microbe Lift Plants NPK when I run out of the Tropica stuff.
Wow! Simply Awesome
Thank you!

Ah that's great advice, thank you! Maybe next time I strip the tank down...
What name the plant you use..

Your right Tai this has to be your best aquascape to date....... Until you do something better??
