This hydroponic garden has been easier for me than to remember to water herbs that are in the ground. But if I didn't have it, I would definitely plant them in the ground.
This is so cool Susan! 💜 I started my very first herb garden this summer - and love having fresh herbs. I like how this one is is indoors. Thanks for sharing this!!
This is SO cool! I heard of this for the first time a few weeks ago and now seeing it again, I'm so intrigued! Definitely want to try this out with my kiddos! Also, would make a great birthday gift for one of my kids who is a nature lover. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I transplant them into soil, and they do fine. Otherwise you just trim them and leave them in the hydroponic garden. It doesn't give any transplanting instructions because it assumes you will never transplant them, since you can keep them in there while trimming them down and using them in your food.
Yes, you do nothing except occasionally add more water. Every two weeks when the light turns red, you add plant food. But it's way lower maintenance than any other way of growing plants!
My MIL had a similar one and it had worked so well. She enjoyed hers. As a child, we grew herbs in the ground in Florida. I love that memory.🌻

This looks so easy. It makes me think that I could garden without killing the plants.
Absolutely!
Good stuff Susan !!!!!

Looks nice! Haven’t seen them at our Costco. My kids tried a guaranteed to grow and we still failed at that 🤣
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Boo. We have also failed at many things... LOL
When you transplant them are you putting them in soil? Also, is it recommended to transplant at a certain stage?
