I love this beautiful country and while it's not perfect, there's no place on earth I'd rather be.
Everytime i hear this song. And see this vidoe. I want to go back,1 year i lived there and want to permantly move there. I lost my heart there and never found it back.

I am Chicago, born and raised. Never been to Australia. But for some reason I fell in love with this song back in the 80s, and none of my friends could figure out why, and Young Einstein didn't help. With this video, I finally feel vindicated!
I am from Chicago and have never been to Australia. Heard this song for the first time this year as a remake was done with Cassian and Icehouse. Sam Fricker Australian diver was using the song for some of his videos. I loved Icehouse from their album Man of Colors. Listening to this made me go back on Icehouse and Midnight Oil. Absolutely love this song.

This has brought tears to my eyes. As an Australian I'd have to say this should be used to promote Australia to the world, for those overseas to come visit us and enjoy this great southern land and return home knowing they've seen something special.
Being from Boston, it's been my dream since I was a kid to go to Australia and this video made my heart skip a beat. Sydney has been on my bucket list ever since and Iva nailed this song HUGE !!! Iconic song by an iconic 80's Australian legend. My fear is that one day I will save the money to go and once I do, I might not come back. Too bad Icehouse can't do an American tour.

I love this country. I am 'white' but adore the mix of different peoples and cultures. In life you either have to be open minded or narrow minded. I have found being open is so much more rewarding. This song, if you bother to feel the lyrics, is about the open minded view of us all. After 60 years of living this is a wonderful way to view our land and people.

I have lived in Australia my entire life. The song reminds how much of a great country and soil I’m standing on. I have seen amazing things as a 14 year old traveller but Australia is the most iconic country I know.

I went to Australia because I heard one of the women beautiful voice in this video great southern land and she wear a sleeveless dress with orange , black and white.
I've always loved this song by Ice house, but this multicultural version ( and the film clip) is awesome. Love it. It would great to know who the singers are though.
With is a fantastic ad, very reminiscent of the QANTAS ad with the song "I am, you are, we are Australian." Makes me want to explore my country again...

I still tell people about this amazing version of a great song ...Any version is fantastic because it's truly a great song that encapsulates our , harsh , rugged , challenging but off the scale beautiful country . It sums up Australia .. I also love it because my State , Tasmania , features quite a bit in the clips . Often we are forgotten about but this one doesn't forget that .

Concerning the landscape and nature it's just one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Everyone who was born there can be glad and thank god. When I leave the house on a cold winter morning here in germany and look into the grey sky I have the urge to bury myself in the garden immediately (if the ground isn't frozen)

Still iconic. If you listen to the words they don't really seem to say anything, but if you don't focus on them they bring up incredible images and feelings. Brilliant effect. Haunting.

Oh you made me cry! Great song, great band, they nabbed it in one. It's not just the land, it's the Aboriginal People that make this song so poignant. This is a fantastic, fresh new take on one of Australia's best anthems.

I still think after traveling all over the world Australia is still the most beautiful place in the world. Safe, friendly people, and wonderful variety landscapes. Couldn't even dream about living anywhere else.
As someone already said, I can't stop watching it either, brings tears to my eyes as I loved this song when it was first released in 1982 and love it just as much now. This video is simply stunning, a bloody fantastic effort.
