Hey so how's the Microphone routed?
Just straight/normal, mic isn’t in line with the ESX or wind synth, it’s just there to amplify the sound coming from ESX

Sounds really “fat”! Like analog fat. What are you using for the “carrier” tone? I think you said a sawtooth wave? Being generated by what?
I’m pretty sure I used the ElectroSpit app, now called Poly, and I think I used IOS IK Multimedia sample tank with MOOG library, too? I need to go back and watch, if I didn’t walk through the sound here I know I did in another video 😁
Pretty sure I only used the free Electrospit app, Talkbox Synth. Poly is next level and definitely worth the few bucks! Looks like I need to make a video using IOS sampletank moog :)
This is so cool! Any idea if you can do this with the YDS-150?
it may be easier with that as it has Bluetooth midi built in, right?

@@lovablebigman2343 should work very well with midi and electrospit app or just direct sound from it into the ESX-1 :) The tubeless talkbox is truly a game changer!!!!
Let me get this straight, I can do EWI vocorder stuff like Mike Phillips with just an iPhone app and pedal?
Talk box, different but similar to vocoder. Just need ewi, mute or volume pedal and ElectroSpit which comes with its own app 😁 can just use saw sound in ewi, you can get it pretty close to electrospit app sound
You can do the daft punk voice with that?
I think that was vocoder, which I’ve done vocoder with my ewi and a couple different pieces of gear. Can def get it to sound similar depending on the sound patch 😁

Is this still just as hard to learn, and sing on, as the real one with the tube?
Far easier!!!! I could never get a consistent clean sound with tube due to large tongue and large cheeks, but I did clean abc's with ESX-1 on my 3rd or 4th try. Def check out Bosko's tip videos on youtube and instagram, helps alot! Let me know when you get yours!
@@GabrielBelloMusic hmm. I already got one. I got a regular one too. The regular one is a bit cumbersome. Im just now beginning to get it. After a few months of situating the tube in my mouth
@@CalvinCarter1989 Nice! I feel with the traditional tube talk box you can get it louder but the ESX1 is easier because no tube, shorter learning curve and definitely more hygienic 😁
@@GabrielBelloMusic very true, g. It makes it too easy. The only hard part is finding that part on your neck to get the sound.
